I have used the solution for the IT systems of a German client and for our data center. I also build sandbox servers, and then I build SAP S4HANA. So, now I am working on a POC environment, which is a PCC that is SPS 7 with HANA 2.0 SPS 05. I'm doing this tech upgrade which is a requirement of critical use for SAP S4HANA, and then multiple systems with the current patch. I'll start with SAP S4HANA installation into the POC environment and will do this backup with Commvault. Then, I will start with the database for the HANA readiness check. And I will resize my hardware with analytics browser support, and I will do this readiness check with the functionality and run the report. So I will keep a check on if the objects come, and I have to be forwarded with this functionality, how they can soon, you know, do online check, and they will do the modifications.

SAP S4HANA on AWS can be used for managing financials, sales, inventory, quotes, or supply chains.

We use this product to run our business on the cloud. Specifically, we are using the SAP product called S4HANA. We are in the cable industry, so our entire business runs on S4HANA using the APM modules, along with finances.

Currently, I'm working with SAP S4HANA as a technical support, and the technical support has been good. I have used SAP S4HANA on AWS. SAP S4HANA can be used on many hosting services, such as IBM RISE and Microsft Azure. When you're using someone else's hardware and being a tenant in it. Then those are some of the main players out there. You're going to become a business partner with who's hosting the software. You're a business partner with SAP, you've chosen to use SAP or whatever the ERP software is. Then it just comes down to, who you want to host your data on their servers. 

SAP S4HANA is popular for managing operations related to workforce planning and product reporting. We also have a lot of Fiori apps that make the process easier for business users. Additionally, it's well integrated with inventory management, including stock values and material movement. It's been helpful.

S4HANA can be used for multiple functions throughout industry from material management to finance and production planning. I'm an SAP technical consultant.

We've used the solution for HR and their salary processes, including the salary payments. That is still on the SAP, however, the database they have changed to a HANA database.

SAP S4HANA on AWS is a core end-to-end ERP enterprise for the organization. AWS, Azure, and GCP are hyper scalars that we use for hosting the solution instead of SAP data centers or on-premise data centers. The solution is used largely for managing enterprise planning and the organization's finances.

S4HANA is an analytics suite. It's a cloud-based solution for managing an enterprise. Each enterprise has different departments, like finance, procurement, sales, quality assurance, planning, etc. The system has the capacity to manage all these departments in a single box and they're all integrated. 

The purpose of the solution actually is to manage all the organization's activities within your organization on a single platform. For example, when you register a transaction from procurement, the finance part of the system deducts it from the balance sheet. The same thing happens with sales, maintenance, or any other department. It helps you visualize your data in real time and make decisions.

SAP S4HANA on AWS is mainly used for deploying SAP applications.

We use SAP S/4HANA on AWS for an enterprise environment encompassing multiple departments and functions like JBA, operations, finance, HR, and EIBM.

SAP S4HANA on AWS is used mostly for SAP. Amazon AWS is one of the biggest installed bases for SAP solutions is why we selected Amazon AWS mostly for our clients.

Infrastructure-wise, if you have your own data center and you're running SAP ECC, a very initial or the older version of SAP ERP - if that's the case, you need to maintain your own data center. You need to maintain your own infrastructure away from the server or network. SAP offers cloud hosting to help with that.

There could be many use cases for this product. The use cases will be different depending on the industry where it is employed. It could range from the manufacturing industry to the retail industry. The actual use case could be anything.  

The solution is deployed with two possible methods. One is the on-premises deployment (with AWS) and the second one is the cloud deployment. You follow the software development life cycle for deploying the solution. First, you do the project preparation followed by the solution design. This is followed by the actual realization of the design plan. In the final testing, you engage in three go-live activities. When this is successful, you follow it with an actual live deployment. With the go-live successful, there would be PGLS (Post Go-Live Support), which is nothing but the support aspect. So implementation typically follows the normal software deployment life cycle. The approach could be anything, like support could be a waterfall approach (project activities into linear sequential phases) or it could be a more aggressive approach.  

We primarily use the solution as an end-to-end integration. Most companies are already using financial software, but they want to have software which can offer complete integration. In our case, it's finance, material management, sales distribution, and HR.

We only provide the infrastructure, not the solution. We use just the infrastructure that we provide to our customers and customers include the system integrated to deploy the SAP S/4HANA inside the AWS infrastructure. The customer likes it that way.

In every organization, there are several systems including project management and production planning. They can get integrated in a way that they can actually link up with all these departments and get common visibility. Clients use SAP for that.

The main interest of my customers is in service formulations and telephone centers right now. I think most of the things are very common. The application of customer assistance is a major thing as is registration automation. Apart from that, there are a lot of restrictions based on destinations. A lot of customers have to be removed from the cloud because of the basic restrictions and standards. This is because if you are going on to SAP S/4HANA on the cloud, you are not allowed to serve all the destinations because of restrictions.  

Being customers who have been using the product for some time, my clients have a lot of customizations. Now they have to follow some regulations and they need to either remove customizations or bring them current with the new product and the cloud environment.  

I'm an SAP software developer. We use the product for many different functions; financial production, material management, distribution functions. Everything.
