We are using the enterprise version of the solution, however, I can't speak to how the licensing is arranged. I'm not sure if we are charged monthly or yearly or what we pay. It might be yearly and we may have a three-year contract with them.

The solution offers moderately priced licensing. It's not overly cheap or overly expensive. That said, since last year, they have increased the price. It's based on usage.

We do find that it is worth the cost. However, it depends on how you use it. If they give a $1 million per year contract, and if you are not even sending one integration to live then it's not useful.

Running a POC is free.

I used the free trial. You need to pay for a license to use SnapLogic. The pricing is based on the number of integrations you need and the volume of data you're processing.

The pricing is better than Informatica and the license is renewed on an annual basis. The price depends on the volume of the data and the infrastructure you are choosing.

They have pricing/usage tiers that are easy to move up or down. Forecasting use was not something I spent time on.

We employed the incremental model of development, starting with the bare minimum load and system requirements. As the project progressed, we increased the bandwidth accordingly. When the further expansion was needed, we provided the client with a valid case study to justify the increased request. We further discussed what additional elements would be added and how they would affect the bandwidth. By scaling the solution incrementally the cost is controlled and more beneficial to the client.

The license model is based on consumption. They charge for the number of connectors.

SnapLogic costs can be largely dependent on the cost of their nodes.

It is a higher initial cost than other easy-to-use integration apps.

If they need to build complex integrations and don’t want to use code, look to SnapLogic.

If you want to build simple integrations and send e-mails, there are probably more affordable options.
