I found SnapLogic valuable and what I found most valuable about it was its ETL feature. I also found its automation feature valuable. It can be used for automating manual activities. It can be used as a middleware for certain transactional data processing and minimal datasets and ETL activities.

It's a not-bad, low-code solution. You can directly pull, drag and drop. Even if you have some coding to be done, you can do it on your own. You can do it in Python. It's more developer-friendly, and development can be done at a very faster phase. Once you develop, on the fly, you can see all the data and how the data is getting transformed, and how data is available.

It's a very easy-to-use tool. Most importantly, for any new developer, if you want to onboard, it's very easy.

The initial setup is simple.

The solution has multiple dashboards.

What I found most valuable in SnapLogic is the ETL feature, particularly the Transform Snap Pack, for example, any kind of reading or writing on Transform Snaps. Other than that, all the third-party connectivity tools such as the SAP Snap Pack, Salesforce Snap Pack, Workday Snap Pack, even the ServiceNow Snap Pack, I find all those are pretty useful in SnapLogic.

SnapLogic is more user-friendly than Boomi in terms of debugging. You can move the mouse to a place, and it will record and show the data easily.

With Boomi, you have to double-click, open it, and then choose which information you want to see. Sometimes, you don't know what information will be displayed or what information you're not seeing. You have to have experience with Boomi to be able to understand, but with SnapLogic, it's working.

It offers the same core functionalities as other integration tools. I don't see a clear differentiation. They are all competing in the same market, targeting the same customer base. I think broader technology trends make it harder to see the distinctions that may have existed previously. So, we are moving towards Boomi. We're even exploring Microsoft Azure integration services now.

There are features like CSV Parser, XML Parser, File Writer Snap, and File Reader that we use in our company with the separate functionalities provided by SnapLogic, which helps us to apply transform logic and migrate data.

SnapLogic is very user-friendly. There's not a lot of code, it's mainly snaps. It also gives you the opportunity to use other languages, such as Python, and to easily connect to other systems. If there isn't a snap that fits your needs, you can always use snaps that let you code pretty much any language you need. One of the cool things is that SnapLogic tries to stay up to date on all of the new snaps and all of the new logics available. We're able to manage a large amount of data through SnapLogic.

The simplicity of the tool and the wide availability of connectors or snaps are most valuable to me. The API architecture makes it easy for orchestration.

SnapLogic is an IPA tool that leverages a low code environment to connect to multiple sources, extract data, and store it in Azure data lake. SnapLogic is a low-code, low-investment solution that required me to design best practices and orchestration rules for multiple data pipelines.

The solutions ability to connect "snaps" or components to the graphic user interface is very intuitive, prevents errors, and makes implementations easy.

The patterns, API management, and account encryption are really good when building a flow for integration.

The dashboard is a great feature that highlights any real-time errors or activity and includes three months of statistics.

We're able to use the solution as a hybrid deployment. It's one of the solution's main advantages. You can also have multiple applications connected.

We can integrate multiple solutions, including Jira.

We have a semantic layer and are able to pull all the data from different applications using APIs.

The solution is easy to implement and easy to use. It's basically just drag and drop.

The user interface is very simple. It's easy for anyone to pick up and adopt.

The SnapLogic dashboard is good because it gives you a plethora of information for troubleshooting when there's an issue. By using the dashboard, you can find exactly what the cause of the problem was and simulate easily.

The feature I found most valuable in SnapLogic is low-code development. Low-code development has been very useful for simple processes, which is required for business users such as extracting details from a file or getting things reported by calling your web service. Calling your web service also becomes easier with SnapLogic because of the snaps available, so if you have the documentation, you can call an API. You don't have to write all those clients to call an API, so that is another feature I found very easy in SnapLogic. Configuring and managing all the file systems also become very handy with the solution.

  • It makes creating complicated integrations that would normally be scripted, easy to digest, design, and understand.
  • By using snaps instead of functions in code, you can see the building blocks of the integration visually. This helps a lot.
  • It is extremely easy to connect to various business systems and product integrations rapidly.
