SolarWinds IPAM Pricing

SK
SME Solarwinds at a computer software company with 1,001-5,000 employees

The product is costly. It costs around $4000 to $5000 for 25000 IPs. It has options for purchasing either perpetual or subscription based licenses. There are no additional charges involved. For renewal, we have to pay around 20% of the total cost. It means $1000 to $1500.

It's on the costlier side. It's expensive.

I haven't explored other applications in the market. I have seen a couple of open-source ones, which are comparatively low in price but they can't be exactly compared to SolarWinds. IPAM is an expensive solution for any firm to adopt.

On a scale of one to five, where one is high and five is good, I would rate this solution as a four. It is quite affordable.

The price of SolarWinds IPAM is good. After the second year, you have to pay additional for maintenance, because the first year is included with the license maintenance and support. It's from the second year on, you have to pay about 20% of the list price for maintenance and support.

I rate the price of SolarWinds IPAM a five out of five.

SolarWinds products are always priced lower than you’d expect for great software. I’d encourage anyone who has priced other IP address management solutions to look at IPAM, and do a simple cost comparison. You’ll be surprised at what SolarWinds can offer.

The license is expensive as it could be priced lower. Therefore, I rate the price a six out of ten.
