I utilize multiple tools and I can say the same for my company and the clients. The reason for choosing SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer over other monitoring tools is that it's very comfortable to use. It's a user-friendly tool.

Before using ThousandEyes we only used SolarWinds.

Prior to SolarWinds, we were using WhatsUp Gold. We weren't getting out of it what we needed, so we did a trial of SolarWinds and really liked what they saw. That is why we changed.

We were previously using Zabbix. We also looked at alternative products such as Nagios, but SolarWinds was actually decided on only because it's got a lovely graphical interface, it's easy to use, has powerful reporting features, and excellent support.

We did not previously use any other solution.

We decided to become distributors for PRTG, after working with SolarWinds.

We did not have anything in place before implementing this solution.

There was no solution in place before this one. The network really scaled up quickly, and it had not been necessary before adding more branch properties led to more problems.

I have experience with Cisco tools, as well as Microsoft.

SolarWinds is easier to use and has more features than ManageEngine.

SolarWinds is a great product with a lot of possibilities, but also, it is not the Holy Grail. None of these solutions are. The suitability and choice of products depend on what is best for the customers. It's situation-based, and it depends on the requirements.
