Sophos EPP Suite Other Advice

I give the solution an eight out of ten.

Before using the solution we must first identify the number of computers and servers. The license is per computer. It's better to have visibility on the number of endpoints we want to protect.

I use Sophos Connect client for VPN. The speed of the connection depends on one's network infrastructure.

I recommend the solution to those who plan to use it.

Those who want VPN connections can definitely go ahead with Sophos since it offers good features and security.

I rate the overall solution a ten out of ten.

I recommend Sophos EPP Suite for small and medium businesses.

Sophos EPP Suite is a good solution, particularly in its latest version. It has a variety of modules for web applications and has the ability to run password checks or disable certain features. This allows for flexibility and ensures that the solution remains active even if one feature is compromised. It's a unique and effective solution.

I rate Sophos EPP Suite an eight out of ten.

This problem is that it is no longer implementable because, as previously stated, it was out of sale last year and will be obsolete by next year. If they have to go to the new central solution intercept one, which I have only had limited experience with up to now, So there's nothing I could really say to other potential customers.

Keeping in mind our environment, I must say that we have a very complex environment at our university. And from that perspective, I would rate Sophos EPP Suite a five out of ten.

We're just a Sophos customer. We don't have a special relationship with the client.

We're using the latest version of the solution.

In terms of adopting this technology, I'd advise other organizations to work with their integration team and know the products in and out before getting started. They will have to spend a lot of time planning the process with Sophos. However, Sophos has a team that will help companies do that, which really helps simplify the process.

We personally didn't use them for the integration piece, but we did have the conversation with how to get it deployed, and testing, and all those kind of things within our environment.

I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.

If a user wants a less intensive solution that doesn’t focus a lot on DLPs and encryption, they can choose Sophos EPP Suite. If they need a quick solution for DLP, McAfee is the best choice. People who want to use the product must have at least 8 GB RAM. It is a resource-intensive tool. We should be careful with legacy systems. We cannot use older versions of the operating systems. Overall, I rate the product a seven out of ten.

An antivirus and endpoint security solution I use is Sophos EPP Suite. I use it for personal purposes, and I'm using the latest version because it's cloud-based, so it self-updates.

I deployed Sophos EPP Suite for twenty-five users, but overall, my company deployed the tool for about one hundred users.

The number of staff required for the deployment and maintenance of Sophos EPP Suite depends on the company, the scale of the organization, and the project. You may need one or two experts to guide general IT staff, or you can use one expert with the skill of upgrading the operating system when needed and deploying the Sophos EPP Suite agent. If you have an expert in the company who can manage Sophos Central, then that person would be enough for deploying and maintaining the tool.

I would recommend Sophos EPP Suite to others who want to start using it because it's the best product.

I'm giving Sophos EPP Suite a score of nine because it's a good tool for me.

My advice to those considering this solution would be to look for compatibility with the operating system. If you have a heterogeneous environment like Linux or Aqua, make sure they're compatible in terms of version support and everything. Nowadays, endpoint protection is quite mature for almost all of the ends, so the only thing you need to look at is the compatibility. Otherwise, it's simple because most of the time the server management is the most difficult thing, but it's all taken care of in the cloud version, so you don't have to do anything. You just install the license and push the policies on the central server.

I would rate this solution as a nine out of ten.

My advice for anybody who is implementing EPP Suite is to work with their integration team to learn the ins and outs of the product. They have got to spend a lot of time planning the process with Sophos, and Sophos has a team in place to help with that.

Overall, I would say that it is a good endpoint solution. I think that we're using every feature that they have. That said, I'm sure that there are some things that I'm missing.

Although I don't know the version number, I'm using the most up to date one.

I'd advise organizations considering implementing the solution to first consider their requirements. They need to know what they are looking for. There are a lot of vendors out there that offer many of the same features. However, if there's just one critical feature that's necessary, you need to be sure it will work correctly for your company.

You also need to make sure you are choosing something that is compatible with other solutions that intersect. We've had experiences where we thought that a certain piece of software would work with Sophos and we realized that it didn't.

I'd rate the solution seven out of ten.

We use the on-premises deployment model.

Our experience with Sophos has been mixed. They need to follow up with their local partners to ensure whatever issues their clients are having are resolved. At this point, I wouldn't recommend the solution to others.

I'd rate the solution five out of ten. Earlier, when we installed the solution, we didn't have too many challenges. Challenges didn't start until we started getting reports of people having viruses on their computers when Sophos was running, which makes me concerned that it isn't a secure solution.

I would recommend this solution. It is a good solution for small firms that don't have very sophisticated requirements. If you are a large firm with a lot of specific requirements, then obviously, you need to do your homework, but for a small firm, it is fine. It is easy to install and administer.

I have clients that both use the on-premises and cloud deployment models. I'm a consultant and I advise the clients based on their environments and current needs.

Central management is one thing that stands out with this solution. Other products are now catching up in terms of offering central management. With Sophos, you can manage all the products from one central dashboard. You don't have to install different management consoles. The product is pretty straightforward for the average user.

You cannot choose a more complete Sophos EPP Suite, especially if you're looking for a secure environment. You can secure both the network, the infrastructure and the gateways and share security information. Synchronized security is something I would advise others to look into when they're considering a product.

I'd rate the solution eight out of ten.
