If a client system is attempting to download anything or if any other system file is trying to access it, an alert is triggered by Intercept and the firewall. Automatically, it is connected to Sophos Central daily. I can trace the issue from Sophos Central, and the Endpoint will provide all the necessary information. Endpoint security ensures that client systems, including servers, are protected. One of the best features of Sophos Intercept is that it repairs without slowing down the system.

The fewer panes of glass you've got to go to to try to investigate an event, the better off you are. If there's some automation that goes on within the fabric, or whatever you want to call it, this coordinated effort, then you're going to come out ahead as a small organization. Sophos has one pane of glass, so it gives good visibility. There's less time spent in front of the screen because I have confidence in the automation that's going on.

I would say that it's difficult to really say how it's improved our organization. We had never actually been hit by a ransomware attack prior to installing Sophos and never had Sophos tell us that we're experiencing one. That said, it's very important to be protected. Getting attacked would be a disaster.

Without a doubt, this product has helped our organization. We've been deploying Sophos Firewall for probably 15 years now. We haven't had a lot of trouble, and prior to using the Sophos product, we were using a lot of Symantec products and occasionally some others. We have not had a lot of problems with infections. By that I mean, if we had three attacks over the 15 years I'd be kind of surprised, That's usually due to the fact that somebody was doing something stupid. Otherwise, we've been very well protected. Basically, if a lot of people are looking maliciously at any of our clients, they aren't getting very far.

We had some technical problems. Maybe in the new update of this solution, they could fix some technical bugs. 

Sophos Intercept X has slow internal processes that could be better. Because of this, it hasn't improved our organization.
