What is most valuable?

* ICA protocol performance on a slow network * Adaptive user constraint in a different user environment * Load balancing and HA

How has it helped my organization?

What needs improvement?

Citrix needs to ameliorate their administrative panel and provide a tool to add more control in the user Citrix environment. An example is Norskale, recently acquired by Citrix. Actually the user profile can only be modified by third part... more»

What is most valuable?

The ease in which it operates. I have been able to get complete computer novices in different time zones to download and install the program with ease so that I could troubleshoot their computer issues.

How has it helped my organization?

Before TeamViewer, our remote personnel had to rely on taped video training, but now they get one-on-one training as I walk them through things on their computers.

What needs improvement?

Only the paid version allows for file transfer. Also, it is annoying that I have to upgrade every time they release a new version because I can't use an older version to access a new one even if my version is paid and their version is a trial.

What do you think of Bomgar Remote Support?

Valuable Features: We love the security, the flexibility and our end users especially enjoy the security and knowledge that when we are finished with their computer they can validate that the software was removed from their system. We like that we can customize the solution and we enjoy the screen sharing even on mobile phones. • Improvements to My Organization: Increased our FCR rates and the efficiency of the support desk • Room for Improvement: Linux support leaves quite a bit to be desired. Ubuntu systems have issues with connectivity. • Use of Solution: Longer than I have been with the company, so at least 10 years. • Deployment Issues: None at a;; • Previous Solutions: We did, but nothing came close to Bomgar

What is most valuable?

* Credential storage * Working with cloud services, Azure. * Being able to import from password managers and other connection tools.

How has it helped my organization?

RDM has enabled me to do most of my work in one place. This helps me be able to have an RDP session open to a server in one tab and an SSH session open to a VMware host in another. Also, being able to store my credentials makes connecting a... more»

What needs improvement?

The only complaint I have heard is there are too many updates. Each time there is an update (the app prompts to upgrade), it can be time consuming, especially when sometimes there are multiple updates per week.

What is most valuable?

It is very straightforward to set up, use, install, and transfer sessions. File transfer, screen capture, video replay.

How has it helped my organization?

Before we were using this, everything either had to be in-person, or one computer at a time. There was no way to access multiple computers, or share between technicians. This has allowed us to do all that while supporting everybody inside and... more»

What needs improvement?

Network browsing and connecting on the LAN, because if you can't see the computers on your network, what good is the product? Also, they need to improve their technical support.
