The most valuable feature of the solution stems from the fact that it is easy to use and learn. The product also integrates well with other cloud platforms. The product is very user-friendly.

Mostly we enjoy the orchestration of microservices as you can have a Spring Boot application and build your own steps. You can deal with multiple processors as you need. There is a Spring Task inside CDF. That task is also helpful for a temporary position. You can trigger some tasks and it will do something in a few microseconds and then finish the task. There is no memory occupied by running the microservice. You can just open the microservice and it will do some work and then it will die and memory is released. These kinds of temporary activities are also helpful. 

It's a low-resource type of product. You have a scheduler running, and you have a lot of smaller tasks to be done by the Scheduler. Therefore, you don't need to keep the microservice running. You can trigger the task and the task will be executed and it will be down and GAR execution will be down and then memory will be released. So you don't ever need to keep any long life microservices.

There are a lot of options in Spring Cloud. It's flexible in terms of how we can use it. It's a full infrastructure.

The most valuable features of Spring Cloud Data Flow are the simple programming model, integration, dependency Injection, and ability to do any injection. Additionally, auto-configuration is another important feature because we don't have to configure the database and or set up the boilerplate in the database in every project. The composability is good, we can create small workloads and compose them in any way we like.

The ability to offer a graphical environment in order to visualize the stream is extremely important. It not only helps to see how the stream is composed but also helps to share those ideas and flows with other members of your team.

The simplicity of using off-the-shelf components that plug into the data flows is also very valuable, as this helps to reduce the time you’ll need to spend reinventing the wheel and creating those common patterns.

The ease of developing custom components that can plug into the ecosystem is also extremely valuable.

The most valuable feature is real-time streaming.

It integrates very well with Kafka. The integration of Elasticsearch Appian was indeed very good because we just attached Appian to a pipeline. We had an Elasticsearch cloud, on-premises, so we were able to connect to the data.

It is open-source and has rich community support.
