The operating system is efficient in terms of security. There are many SAP Linux policies included in it.

We can use Ansible for automation. Ansible enables us to have playbooks that can deploy the configurations as defined. The tool’s idempotency ensures all configurations are in place at all times. Security is the main concern in an organization. The product takes care of security. Too. The solution is available as an open-source product.

SUSE Linux Enterprise has a good management system for DevOps operations and integration with Red Hat.

I like the fact that SUSE has a secure operating system. SUSE is one of the more mature versions of Linux and one of the best out there - it's very easy to install and upgrade. One of its advantages is that it doesn't consume as much memory as other operating systems and you can trim it down. If you're trying to fortify the operating system it's very easy. If you were using Windows you'd have to do all kinds of things and it would take a lot longer, it's easier with Linux. 

The pacemaker cluster and the SUSE Manager used for patching are the most valuable features.

The most valuable feature of the solution is that it is generally a stable system, especially since we have a lot of SAP products in our company. SUSE Linux Enterprise provides all the binaries for SAP.

SUSE Linux Enterprise is easy to configure for those who are not hardcore command-line driven.

SUSE Linux's most valuable feature is the documentation - there is a lot of documentation about how to create custom servers.

The most valuable feature of the solution is the installation part. The process is carried out through a download from Mitel's support site. It more or less preconfigures the system.

The ease of use is quite exceptional in SUSE Linux. Whenever you need to set up any application role on that particular distribution, you normally just use the inbuilt package manager or installer called YaST, which is basically the management toolkit for the server. Compared to other distributions, maybe where you need first to go ahead and install the package and probably do a bit of configuration, it's normally easier to do this in SUSE since the package is already installed and all you have to do is just do your configurations for that particular feature you need.

Part of the advantages of using SUSE Linux is that it comes with support. So you do get it for free. However, if you need support, that is when you need to pay a subscription cost. Still, patches, you can get for free.

It's easy to set up.

The solution is stable.

It can scale. 

Support is very responsive. 

The features are pretty good. 

It is fairly stable. 

Technical support has been okay.

From a functionality perspective, the suite is quite rich. We like that.

The most valuable feature is that there is an inbuilt HANA firewall.

Integration with Windows Active Directory is user-friendly.

Security and performance are good.

The main feature is that Linux is flexible to work with for most web-based applications. 

I'm using the latest that they have which is a new innovation called MicroOS, which basically creates immutable infrastructure. It's a new trend in the Linux world and it is amazing. SUSE has been different from Red Hat with its YaST tool. They have a tool called YaST and it makes Linux server administration much easier as it's like a GUI, not a command line. It's a really amazing tool at it allows you to automate the administration of Linux servers. I love it. I felt like it's where the enterprise should be.

You can always have Oracle databases installed on SUSE. You can do the same on Red Hat. SUSE is a German company and they're very good with SAP. There is this database or ERP system based on this thing called SAP HANA. SUSE Linux is one of the few certified options to install SAP HANA on. If you're talking about enterprise-grade Linux, that can work on both Oracle and SAP and can offer it both Oracle and SAP workloads, SUSE is the best. I love it.

The stability, the performance, and the elegant design are all aspects I really like. Everything about SUSE I like, to be honest.

The product can scale. 

The initial setup is very straightforward. 

The best experience would have to be the upgrade process. It has progressed to be very easy and seamless. 

The most valuable aspect of the product was the support for the Oracle product stack. The Orarun package was such a tremendous help in our shop.

There are several items which make this distribution a good product, however I think YaST is probably what I like most about it. YaST simplifies the server management of SUSE allowing for a centralized utility to control most of the server functions.

My customers are happy with the features and the stability of the code. Also the availability of extended support of each version for a few years after normal support ends. Unique advantages are offered by the special edition SES for SAP applications.

I have not experienced any issues with this operating system.

SuSe has an offline repository in DVD media. It's easy to use, although not as easy as Ubuntu is.

The administration tools are very useful.

It is very powerful and different from Windows.

It is very simple to use.

You don't have to click, you just enter the commands.

It's a flexible solution.
