The installation involves syncing it with an SQL database, especially when utilizing full-fledged SQL. Therefore, a certain level of SQL proficiency is essential for the setup, making it a task better suited for individuals with specific SQL skills. Deploying DCS can be time-consuming, primarily due to the prevalent use of the agent-based approach in about ninety-eight percent of organizations. The process involves deploying an agent and configuring policies after communication with the management server, and the duration can vary based on the organization's preference for granularity in policies. This can lead to an extended and intricate deployment process. Additionally, the agentless approach, while an option, comes with its own prerequisites and demands meticulous policy building.
