Depending on how you want to manage the project, it's pretty easy to set up. A simple spin-up is quite fast, and you can use it right away. However, it offers CI/CD pipeline compatibilities, and that process might take longer. 

The setup is moderate but not too complex. The implementation is more complex because you have to configure everything.

Installation is straightforward. Deployment only takes a couple of days – maybe a day or two with the infrastructure side. For implementation, you have to write a code in order to get the data.

Initial setup was using the Talend Installer, which is very easy but on the next upgrade, we decided to split the systems into individual VMs for better management of security patches. It gets really complex as you go from Data Integration to Data Services Platforms because of the open-source apps in their suite.

I have installed it on both a Mac and a PC, and I haven't had any complaints. 

I'm still working out the dynamic of using a GIT repository, such as GitLab to be able to back up all of the projects that I'm working on.
