In the past six years, we have had no disruption in terms of functionality. We have seen problems arise because of development and deployment strategy, but it is a very stable product. We have not had any problems with our implementations.

In seven years, we haven't had any problems with Tenable SC's stability. Sometimes a specific update doesn't feed exactly as expected, but the problem is always covered quickly by Tenable, and with a stable version, it's very, very stable.

I would rate the stability an eight out of ten. Occasionally, there are some maintenance tasks that might cause a slight uptick in activity, but we have monitoring mechanisms in place. Fortunately, it hasn't experienced any major breakdowns.

Sometimes we encounter issues with resources, like logs populating hard drives, which require manual or semi-manual cleanup. Overall, it maintains a relatively stable performance level. I would rate it at around an eight out of ten in terms of stability.

We have quirks every now again. Sometimes, when I click into the analysis dashboard, I get errors. For example, it will say it can't pull up a specific query. I just let the problem persist. I can work around it and, eventually, it just seems to fix itself.

Beyond that, it's been pretty stable. We have a lot of firepower behind it and in my experience, it has always been up. There aren't that many operational issues with it.

The solution is verry stable. That said, some customers complain about the results and how they are shown. Compared to Nessus, if a customer gets used to using Nessus, and then comes into Tenable SecurityCenter, then the compliance results are an area where they might find a difference. In Nessus, the compliance results are shown in past and failed. In Tenable.sc, it's shown in medium and high. This could be more clear.

We haven't had any problems with it. It seems stable. They make changes to it regularly, to both the vulnerability database and the product itself. They seem to be going through with a reasonable update path and they support previous versions for the expected amount of time.

We haven't seen any crashes or spikes.

We've had more problems with the underlying stuff that is running the operating system, as opposed to actually running Tenable. Tenable SecurityCenter has been pretty stable. We've only had one or two smaller technical issues. There have been other issues, but they've not been Tenable's fault.

There were no crashes, or anything of that sort. The solution is stable. At times, we have had the typical bugs, but it's not something I would say is a big deal. It is maybe once in a quarter--insignificant.

We have only run into one troublesome issue that I can remember. It had to do with the way SecurityCenter inaccurately reported real-time scan results whenever there was a transient problem such as with a duplicate host name or IP, or with authentication.

It was a pain to deal with, because we kept having to go in and manually delete all the failed (but actually successful) scan results.

Whenever you have a vulnerability scan running of  5000 IP addresses all at the same time running, it tends to keep resources on the Tenable server itself, a huge amount of CPU and memory. Right now, it's still goes up, but at least it's below the threshold, which I think would be 73% or 75%.

Usually the solution is stable but it can be a little bit tricky which I think depends on the kind of BME and the sizing used. I'd say it was 80%, 85% stable.
