Toad for Oracle Valuable Features

Technical consultant/lead at a tech services company with 5,001-10,000 employees
The feature that is handy in Toad is that I think it is best for working with Oracle. Currently, I'm using DBeaver, SQL Server, SQL Developer, and Postgres. We are using multiple databases and tools and use Toad for Oracle only. Toad might be good for other situations but I never used it. When we have another kind of database or multiple database types, then we go to DBeaver, which is very handy right now. View full review »

The most valuable feature is the navigation within the UI, where you can right-click on an object in an SQL query and go right to it, versus going through all of the menus to find what you are looking for. I like that Toad has the ability to formulate code. The remote debugging functionality is useful. I like the themes that it has, such as the light theme and the dark theme. There are a huge number of options available to customize what you're doing. View full review »
