I rate Trend Micro Deep Discovery an eight out of ten. If you can go for the entire stack of Apex One, Vision One, Deep Discovery, the entire thing, it will help you better understand your threat landscape. However, scalability needs to be considered, as reaching the peak point of scale may require additional resources for continued growth. A one-to-one ratio of resources to customers can be a challenge. View full review »

If we discuss endpoint protection for servers, there are many features that many endpoint solutions, like Kaspersky, Sophos, or Bitdefender, offer for servers.

I would suggest that those who plan to buy the solution in the future do some research and compare the products available in the market before choosing the best solution for their organization.

I rate the overall tool a six to seven out of ten.

We are not quite at version 5.5.

I'd recommend the solution to others. 

The relationship our company has with Trend Micro is very, very good. They've been very, very supportive of us. We are prioritized whenever we have a problem.

Feature-wise, Trend Micro can add other products to one product or get a new product on top of the security.

Users need to train their IT support department on Trend Micro, especially on the products they buy. If they are not trained, it's very hard for them to understand and run or manage the product. They have to call someone every time they have even small issues. Since users do not always purchase the support directly from Trend Micro, resolving issues takes time, which hurts them.

I rate Trend Micro Deep Discovery eight out of 10. I would recommend it. You need a knowledgeable team to work with the solution. It isn't a solution where you can run an installer, and it's ready to go. You must understand your use cases and prepare accordingly. It's an excellent product, and you will get a lot of value from it if you know what you're getting yourself into.

I rate Deep Discovery an eight out of ten. I would recommend Deep Discovery to others. If people are ready to invest as a capital, then I can recommend a Deep Discovery license. Otherwise, they can go with their cloud-based solution.

Around five to ten technical persons are using the support. We will be able to sell those agents to more than 20 companies.

Only one technical person is enough for a large company for the installation and the management. In terms of management, many logs, alarms, and entries are happening in the portal.

Trend Micro can be a viable option for SMBs looking for a basic EDR or PRT solution. However, for larger organizations or those with highly complex security needs demanding advanced services and sophisticated department knowledge, Trend Micro's capabilities might not be sufficient.

Trend Micro has divided most of the solutions into different sectors. If you want to go for the end-to-end solution, they are very much in a position to provide that. You do not have to add different kinds of products or vendors. Trend Micro covers almost everything.

Be sure to implement Trend's Control Manager module (free) for more flexible reporting, along with integration with other Trend products (strongly suggest using this along with Office Scan and Deep Discovery Endpoint Sensor, which is an EDR solution).

I would definitely recommend it based on how I have seen our network improve and the better insights we got on our traffic.

The only thing is that everything requires a little bit of studying to check the infrastructure and requirements. All in all, the variety of products provided by Trend Micro will give you a huge step up into checking and defending yourself from any threats. That includes threat prevention, as well as analyzing emails and endpoints in general. You have a full package of products to support every single aspect of the network.

I would give it an eight of ten, just because there's a little bit of improvement that can be done for the software. We also had some issues that required customization. I'll just give it an eight for the time being.

We use multiple deployments, that include both on-premises and cloud deployments.
