What is most valuable?

I would say the entire Automation Anywhere RPA functionality is the most valuable part of the product because it helps me to automate the mundane interpretative task. That is where most of my team… more»

How has it helped my organization?

The product is improving our company in a number of different ways through the automation it helps us to create. I would say like the AR function is completely automated right now, but we are in the… more»

What needs improvement?

At least for our requirements, whatever version we have been using till now — I think the current version 11.3.2 — is fantastic and more than we could use as we grew with the product. Any additional… more»

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

They are already coming out with a community license, which is really good. That's something that I wish to have.

What other advice do I have?

If I were to rate this product on a scale of one to ten where ten is the best, I would definitely rate them nine. It is not a ten because of what may be my ignorance of the entire Automation Anywhere… more»

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We had looked at a lot of prominent players in the market and examined the different options as well, like Blue Prism and UiPath. Automation Anywhere was the one company who was flexible in terms of… more»

What is most valuable?

Its ability to work with multiple platforms within the same application or "wizard". Some of the SQL functionality has also been extremely helpful. All of our platforms… more»

How has it helped my organization?

We have some idea of what we wanted to start with. We have been able to expand on that since embracing Kryon a bit more. We originally went into this solution knowing… more»

What needs improvement?

The read from screen functionality needs improvement We still do a lot of stuff in the user interface. Finding UI information and split UI need improvement. I would like… more»

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Licensing costs are about $100,000 a year without any additional costs.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We have used other RPA tools previous to my time at LTCG. None of them were successful after the original deployment. Therefore, we decided to wash the project. While I… more»

What other advice do I have?

Understand that you need to have a very well-documented framework of what you plan to automate. Not necessarily the idea of, "I want to automate this task." But, as a… more»

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We had requests out to four vendors: Kryon, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, and Blue Prism. Kryon did not end up being the most financially inexpensive, but it did make the… more»

What is most valuable?

The most valuable thing about the product is that it is simple. When you go into the UI — and probably because Softomotive has about a 20-year long history in the IT industry — there are small details in the features that simplify how you… more»

What needs improvement?

I think the primary thing that needs improvement in this product is the stability. It looks like it is easy-to-use and that is very nice, but it is more important to have a stable product and not just one that is easy-to-use. If I am… more»

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I have used other products in the past. For example, by comparison, UiPath might be a little bit more stable but it is also a little bit more complicated in the UI/UX (User Interface/User Experience) than Softomotive. UiPath has not got… more»

What other advice do I have?

I think the advice I can give someone considering this solution has to do with making a smart choice. If someone wants to do some RPA project without already knowing a product, then he or she needs to take quite a long time to learn about… more»

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Because I am in this industry, I am gathering information about different tools all the time. I use mainly WinAutomation and ProcessRobot and maybe UiPath for only a month. It is sometimes just to collect information and other times to… more»

What is most valuable?

I haven't been exposed to the solution on a micro-level. Our senior technicians would be able to better answer the question about valuable features. The pricing is quite good. Kofax has already had the capabilities in terms of the OCR… more»

What needs improvement?

I've noticed that no solution, including this one, is trying to automate very simple processes. There are always exceptions and special cases involved in regards to how you can handle these instances. It requires a kind of deep… more»

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

There aren't any costs over and above the standard fee. Generally, we do our licensing from India due to cost constraints.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Before using Kofax, we used a solution called Topline.

What other advice do I have?

I am a co-founder of a tech company. We are into robotics process automation, as well as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science. So we've been working on across multiple tools available in the market, be it the top… more»

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The licensing cost and the cost of ownership is lower than the competition if you are looking to scale to 20+ licenses.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We also have experience with UiPath. In comparison to UiPath, Blue Prism is more resilient and reusable, however, UiPath is faster when it comes to building a process.

What other advice do I have?

We are a Platinum Blue Prism partner. The solution offers a trial version now, so it's super easy, now, compared to six months back when there was no free version. It used to be hard to know if the solution was right and companies would… more»
