Helps improve operational efficiency, save costs, and reduce human error
Pros and Cons
  • "UiPath's interface element identification is arguably more reliable than Automation Anywhere's."
  • "One area that could be improved is how we access the UiPath Academy courses."

What is our primary use case?

I developed several use cases using UiPath. One involved website scraping, where I extracted data like temperature, humidity, and pressure for various cities from a specific website and displayed it in an Excel sheet. This was a small project, but my main focus was a prototype for a client: digital marketing automation. Using UiPath, I created an automation to automatically post articles on different social media platforms.

How has it helped my organization?

UiPath has certainly improved our operational efficiency. My prototype adheres to its principles.  UiPath has a sheer number of functionalities and features in UiPath. While these are beneficial, considering operational efficiency, UiPath excels thanks to its modularity. It's comprised of distinct components like Orchestrate, robots, and studios. This breakdown allows each component to function independently, increasing work flexibility and ease of use.

I would rate the ease of building automation using UiPath an eight out of ten with ten being the easiest.

I would rate the UiPath User Community ten out of ten. It is the best community I have used.

I'm taking advantage of the UiPath Academy courses and find them helpful.

UiPath helps to speed up our digital transformation and reduce costs.

Automation through UiPath helps reduce 80 to 90 percent of human errors.

What is most valuable?

The UiPath User Community is the best feature. We can find a solution to all of our issues there.

UiPath's interface element identification is arguably more reliable than Automation Anywhere's. This is because it utilizes an element descriptor method, which essentially locates "anchors" within the target element, not just relying on its absolute position. In simpler terms, it seeks a stable reference point within the element itself, even if its overall position on the screen shifts. As a result, changes to the website's UI are less likely to break our automation, as the code doesn't depend solely on the element's position. Additionally, UiPath offers a wider range of app integrations and features compared to Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism, making it more versatile for different automation needs.

Logging is also valuable. We can see any system, business, or technical errors.

What needs improvement?

One area that could be improved is how we access the UiPath Academy courses. While it's fantastic that each course provides an assignment, it would be more convenient if we could view the solutions directly within the platform rather than downloading them each time and opening them in our individual UiPath Studio applications. Ideally, there would be an interface integrated into the course platform itself where we could access and review the solutions directly within the browser. This would save time and streamline the learning process.

In Automation Anywhere, each line of code is displayed in a list view, offering clearer visibility. In contrast, UiPath condenses everything into a boxed view or flowchart, which can become cumbersome when dealing with numerous intricate conditions. Pinpointing specific segments for modification within such a condensed format proves challenging. Therefore, UiPath's UI design could benefit from an overhaul to enhance clarity and ease of navigation, especially for managing complex workflows.

Integrates very well with all of our systems and improves efficiency
Pros and Cons
  • "The best feature of UiPath is the integration. UiPath works very well for the automation of our facilities and systems. It not only integrates with our production systems but also with our ERP and CRM. It integrates with all of our processes so that we work in a unified manner and efficient manner."
  • "Support maintenance is an improvement area. I understand that UiPath Academy is there to help users understand it better, but it would be better if the support and community were faster in responding to what is requested by clients. Sometimes, it takes quite some time, so a faster response when clients need something would be better."

What is our primary use case?

I am a mechanical engineer, and I am in charge of seeing various production processes. We have various equipment and systems. Sometimes, they were unmanageable, and we used to experience breakdowns because of poor maintenance or poor management by our staff. That is what prompted us to try automating the systems and making them more efficient. That is why we acquired UiPath, and we have been using it to automate various production and design systems and processes.

How has it helped my organization?

UiPath enables us to implement end-to-end automation. It has helped to ensure that there are no machine breakdowns. It helps to ensure that what we are designing and what has been produced is as per the requirements.

We use the AI functionality in our automation programs for specific departments. We specifically use it in sales and finance. Most of the activities deal with data and numbers, so we needed to integrate artificial intelligence into those departments. It is helping us arrange our sales numbers, have our customer data, and maintain our employee information and data.

The AI functionality has enabled us to automate more complex processes in finance, sales, and customer departments. Previously, we used to struggle with the data in terms of breaking down those Excel numbers and the sales data. The AI functionality helps us break it down and understand it much better. Also, AI has helped us make decisions more easily because it helps us collect data and information much faster. These reports are very valuable in our company.

UiPath has enabled us to automate more processes overall. Initially, we planned to use the platform for design and production, but we have moved to customer service and finance, so it has helped us a lot more. There have been improvements in security management, customer service management, and ERP processes.

UiPath has reduced the cost of digital transformation. When you have UiPath, it opens up integration with other third-party platforms, such as customer relationship management platforms and workforce management platforms. It has opened up the way for digital transformation in our company.

UiPath has reduced human error. It serves as a second eye and goes through whatever has been done by our workforce. It helps to detect much faster where the issues are.

UiPath has freed up time. Previously, we used to have two shifts, a day shift and a night shift, but now, for the night shift, it is not a must to have all of the human workforce. Previously, we had 20 people on the day shift and 10 people on the night shift, but now, during the day as well as the night shift, we have 5 people less than before. We are able to assign other duties to these employees, and they are able to work on them. The work that was being done by 10 people can now be done by 5 people and much faster. We are able to assign these employees other activities where we were lagging behind. Overall, time has been freed up in our organization.

UiPath does save us money. When the systems and facilities are running faster, we are able to produce more. We can also serve our clients faster and even reach out to new markets, so it does save money and opens up more avenues to earn more money.

What is most valuable?

The best feature of UiPath is the integration. UiPath works very well for the automation of our facilities and systems. It not only integrates with our production systems but also with our ERP and CRM. It integrates with all of our processes so that we work in a unified manner and efficient manner.

Another strong point for acquiring UiPath is the ability to deploy and use it across various organizations operating in various industries. It does not matter whether you are in finance or engineering. You can deploy UiPath without many problems and start automating your operations.

What needs improvement?

Support maintenance is an improvement area. I understand that UiPath Academy is there to help users understand it better, but it would be better if the support and community were faster in responding to what is requested by clients. Sometimes, it takes quite some time, so a faster response when clients need something would be better.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using UiPath for around four years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Generally, it is stable, but it also depends on the usage. With any incorrect usage, it can crash.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

It is scalable. New versions are coming up, and their teams are very generous with the information. They are very helpful.

How are customer service and support?

Their support could be faster. Overall, I would rate their support a seven out of ten.

The UiPath Community is helpful in knowing about a problem. When we are looking for new information, we can get the help of the experts and peers at the UiPath Community to get accurate information about the platform.

We also used UiPath Academy initially to get trained on the proper usage of the platform. We only did the initial training there. Our usage has been minimal.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Neutral

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We were not using any alternative automation platform.

How was the initial setup?

It was moderate in terms of complexity because we were trying to gather information about the platform, but we were able to link up with the other user communities.

It requires maintenance on our end. We have a team that is trained in the UiPath support and UiPath Academy. They have been checking the overall working levels and ensuring that they reach the required service levels. They also help to scale it up in case there is a new version or upgrade.

What about the implementation team?

We used a UiPath integrator. He addressed our concerns much faster. Overall, we had a team of about five to seven people who were involved in the deployment and active adoption.

What was our ROI?

We have seen a return on investment because UiPath has made production faster. It has also reduced errors and breakdown times. All these errors and breakdown times used to cost us. We reduced them and the overall stability is rising, indicating that we are realizing our return on investment.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

I find its pricing to be okay, but it also depends on the size of the company. Small users and individual users might not be able to exhaust all the features of the platform, but SMEs and large organizations are able to use the platform in a broad manner. They are able to enjoy many more benefits. UiPath needs to come up with a pricing and licensing model that favors small users and individual users.

What other advice do I have?

To new users of UiPath, I would advise liaising with the user community that is closer to them and becoming a member. I would also advise taking advantage of the UiPath support and academy. You need to have a team of experts who can train you firsthand on its usage. If you follow those two steps, you will start reaping the maximum benefits of the product from early on.

In our case, it was not very easy to use UiPath, but it was also not very difficult. With the right team and with the right support from UiPath, you can do it without facing many difficulties, but when you have a team that does not understand it or that has not undergone the training, it will be difficult. With a team that is briefed and knows what it is supposed to do, it is not that difficult.

Overall, I would rate UiPath an eight out of ten.

Fair price, user-friendly, and constantly enhanced
Pros and Cons
  • "You can design processes even if you do not know coding."
  • "Their support should be improved in terms of response time."

What is our primary use case?

I have been using UiPath for automation purposes. I have designed processes for various business requirements in the insurance sector, such as policy comparison, application contact confirmation, and underwriting notes.

I have been mostly designing processes for clients' purposes, but I have also designed processes for internal business logic and other purposes such as HR automation to help HR. We have automation where all resumes get downloaded in the local folder. We grab the information from the PDF and store it in the Excel format.

How has it helped my organization?

UiPath enables us to implement end-to-end automation. We follow the specifications provided by our architect. We use UiPath Studio to design the processes. It is very helpful. We can easily drag activities and use them in automation.

UiPath is user-friendly. We can easily drag and drop activities even if we do not have any knowledge of coding. They are improving the dependencies and libraries, and they are focusing on activity enhancement. They are providing more options in the properties panel to use it.

UiPass will 100% speed up digital transformation for us. It will be helpful.

UiPath has reduced human error by 30%.

UiPath has also freed up time. The actions performed by humans are now performed by the bot. It saves almost 90% of the time.

What is most valuable?

The enhancements that they provide are valuable. We have been using certain built-in activities in which we have to define the classes. For instance, if we are using the for-each loop, we have to define the for-each loop for the particular class. If you drag and drop the variable itself or if you drag and drop the data table, it automatically takes the built-in class. It automatically fetches that and sets it up. Previously, we had to select the first two pairs of variables, then we had to select the classes for those particular variables. UiPath is rapidly enhancing the features inside the activities for developers' use.

I am a developer. I come from a background of Java technologies. I know how to code. For me, UiPath is far easier. We can just drag and drop the activities and write code, whether it is VBScript or VB.Net. For me, it is easy, but I have also seen people who do not have a coding background using UiPath to design a process. That is the main advantage of UiPath. You can design processes even if you do not know coding.

What needs improvement?

They should provide some more property options to the users in the Enterprise Edition 2021 and 2022. They should provide some more options and some more functionality for the developers to use the activities. They should also improve the activities panel and add more activities.

Their support should be improved in terms of response time.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using UiPath for four years. I have experience with UiPath processes and Orchestrator. I have built business processes for clients and for internal use purposes.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

It is stable. I would rate it an eight out of ten in terms of stability.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

We can scale it. I would rate it an eight out of ten in terms of scalability.

We are using it in multiple offices. There are about 200 people who are using it.

How are customer service and support?

Their support is slow. They should respond faster. I would rate them a five out of ten because they do not quickly respond to our queries even in an emergency. They take two to three days, but we would like them to respond with more urgency.

There are also UiPath forums where we can ask questions, and they help us.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Neutral

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I have not used any other RPA solution.

How was the initial setup?

The deployment is straightforward if you are a developer. It takes about a week.

It is deployed on the cloud. It definitely requires support and maintenance.

What about the implementation team?

We have five to six members.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

Its price is fair. We have no problem. It is good.

What other advice do I have?

I would 100% recommend UiPath if you want to automate any processes.

I have done certification from UiPath Academy. My colleague has also done associate certification. I am planning to do advanced certification, but I have not started it yet.

I would rate UiPath a nine out of ten. I am extremely happy with UiPath but not the support team.

A comprehensive solution for diverse business needs offering a user-friendly interface, robust data scraping and analysis capabilities, seamless end-to-end automation, and impressive scalability
Pros and Cons
  • "It is user-friendly and significantly speeds up the development process."
  • "It would be beneficial for them to develop plans or packages, especially for countries where people are more budget-conscious."

What is our primary use case?

We use it for various purposes like account management, finance, HR, and procurement.

How has it helped my organization?

We can complete all tasks within a single, unified platform. Whether it's documentation or deliveries, there's no need for multiple tools—it's all streamlined and straightforward. There's been a decrease in human errors which means we can skip the manual revalidation process. It's remarkably efficient, freeing up more than fifty percent of employees' time.

What is most valuable?

The standout features are data scraping and data analysis. It enables us to implement automation seamlessly from start to finish. It is user-friendly and significantly speeds up the development process.

What needs improvement?

The primary concern revolves around the high costs of licensing. It would be beneficial for them to develop plans or packages, especially for countries where people are more budget-conscious. Adjusting the pricing strategy could make the platform more accessible to a broader audience. It would be beneficial if there were options to extend the data storage period, coupled with dashboard views and analytic features for a more comprehensive and streamlined experience.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been working with it for seven years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I would rate its stability capabilities eight out of ten.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Scalability is a strong suit; it can effortlessly expand its capacity and functionality to meet specific needs.

How are customer service and support?

Support is somewhat dependent on the presence of a distributor in our region. Dealing with issues often involves going through video communication numerous times. The current setup, due to security reasons, makes troubleshooting challenging without direct access. Having direct access to support through the account holder would make things more convenient. I would rate it four out of ten.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Neutral

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We utilized Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, and similar options before settling on UiPath. Initially, the prices were acceptable, but lately, they've hiked up.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup might seem complex at first, but once you get used to it, it becomes more manageable and straightforward.

What about the implementation team?

The deployment time varies, usually taking half a day to two or three hours, contingent on the infrastructure. Maintenance typically requires only one person.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

It is quite an expensive solution.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We transitioned from WorkFusion to UiPath due to the superior functionalities offered by UiPath.

What other advice do I have?

It's crucial to evaluate not only the technological aspects but also the pricing structure when choosing a platform. Overall, I would rate it eight out of ten.

The biggest benefits are fast implementation and the ability to run unattended bots
Pros and Cons
  • "The most valuable feature is image processing. It's something I use daily when I need to do some work on a VM remotely. Image processing enables me to locate the connectors and click to perform my job or task."
  • "UiPath's OCR features could be improved. It's to do complex OCR captures with UiPath. I would also like improvements in the dashboard for executing processes."

What is our primary use case?

I develop RPA processes at a financial services company. We use UiPath for tasks like data entry, image processing, and reporting.

How has it helped my organization?

The biggest benefits of UiPath are fast implementation and the ability to run unattended bots. When they implemented UiPath, my manager was kind of shocked.

We could run a process to extract every file from the portal each employee needs, which saves almost two hours per employee daily. You could see the benefits immediately. The hardest part of RPA is often convincing management that the expense is justified. The company can hire fewer employees because it's automating repetitive tasks. However, some of that savings is offset by the cost of licenses and hiring developers.

I completed the UiPath Academy course, but I haven't received a certification. It helped me to understand how to implement UiPath processes. The main benefit is that it contains complete information about the tool. I know enough about using UiPath that I don't need to search the knowledge base when I get a new requirement.

Another advantage of implementing robotic process automation is that you can greatly reduce human errors. The RPA process almost never makes mistakes. It increases productivity and frees up employee time. For example, we have a guy who is responsible for creating memos for the checks. It involves 200 checks, but he was reassigned to something else, and now all those checks have been automated. The organization saved the equivalent of about 60 FTEs.

What is most valuable?

The most valuable feature is image processing. It's something I use daily when I need to do some work on a VM remotely. Image processing enables me to locate the connectors and click to perform my job or task. It's easier for me to develop a process using UiPath compared to Power Automate.

UiPath enables us to set up end-to-end processes. For example, I have a process for taxes that gets a statement from the bank, checks incoming and outgoing transactions, calculates the withholding and exemptions, and files it on the income tax site. If I get stuck when I'm working on any process, I can easily ask the UiPath Community forum, and the public can respond to it.

What needs improvement?

UiPath's OCR features could be improved. It has to do complex OCR captures with UiPath. I would also like improvements in the dashboard for executing processes.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have used UiPath for a year and a half.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

UiPath is stable, but you need to adjust the process when a web application changes its interface.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

UiPath is quite scalable, in my experience. We have a large environment and 150-160 processes.

How are customer service and support?

I rate UiPath technical support nine out of 10. They're always on our level when we contact them about any errors or limitations we face. They respond consistently, and they're available when we need a meeting to discuss something.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I have also worked with Power Automate. UiPath is more flexible and dynamic, whereas Power Automate is a little harder to handle.

How was the initial setup?

The initial installation is straightforward. You install the UiPath enterprise license and apply the license key after completing the task. For unattended bots, you need to deploy the Orchestrator on-premises, which is somewhat complicated, but the overall experience is straightforward.

When we implement it on-premises, we need to take some steps for security. We have to configure some ports and connect all the PCs, but everything is under the control of an enterprise security security solution. During the initial installation, we needed five people, but once it's deployed, a single person can administer the platform.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The pricing depends on whether you're running attended or unattended bots. Unattended processes cost a lot more, and you have to pay cloud costs, too. It's costly. The licensing for the tenant dashboard, developer's toolkit, etc. was reasonable, but unattended bots are quite expensive.

What other advice do I have?

I rate UiPath nine out of 10. I suggest new users study the knowledge base on the UiPath website. Many people get information from YouTube or another source that doesn't cover all the steps of this tool. However, if you study using UiPath Academy, you can gain complete knowledge of the tool.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

User-friendly with a drag-and-drop interface and has reasonable pricing
Pros and Cons
  • "I found UiPath nicer than other RPA tools. I like that its enterprise version is pretty user-friendly."
  • "There was a security block because, manually, people still worked with the older versions, but the bot wanted the latest upgrade from the application, so in some cases, there was a delay or failure, or the bot got killed. It was a mixed bag, so I cannot say it was one hundred percent successful, which is an area for improvement."

What is our primary use case?

I work in the financial sector, so my organization mostly used UiPath for disputes, fraud, and chargebacks. My organization had a pretty straightforward use for the tool as it had rule-based manual processes that required automation; otherwise, the organization had to hire temps for manual tasks. My organization used UiPath primarily for fraud and dispute bots, and chargebacks.

What is most valuable?

I found UiPath nicer than other RPA tools. I like that its enterprise version is pretty user-friendly, plus my overall experience with other components, such as UiPath Orchestrator, was pretty good.

I also found the tool's basic features, such as extracting values from Excel or PDF files and logging into applications, pretty decent compared to other tools. I haven't explored the OCI feature of UiPath that much, so I'm unable to give feedback on how good it is.

Overall, UiPath was easy to use, and building automation via UiPath was easy, with no blocks or restrictions from an application point of view, except inside a Citrix environment.

The tool enabled the organization to implement end-to-end automation. However, it was just a POC, and later on, the team didn't carry it out because the complexity was too high, not because of UiPath, but because of security reasons. The POC went well, but a closer look at the complexity made the team decide it wasn't a good business case.

As a user, I was pretty satisfied with UiPath.

The tool helped minimize the on-premises footprint, which was important because my organization wanted to go digital and had a target.

The team recommended UiPath Academy courses to some of the newly hired process analysts, particularly the UiPath basic course, but primarily, the developers already had advanced UiPath training.

In some cases, UiPath helped speed up digital transformation; in others, it slowed it. Sometimes manual handling was quicker than the bot because for some legacy applications the organization was using, you had to intentionally put some delays, for example, when pages take time to load.

UiPath also helped reduce human error and increase accuracy. My team didn't encounter any production incidents, but in some cases, when other applications or trusted applications, such as mail services, came in, sometimes the bot clicked the button, but still, the mail wasn't sent. The application was supposed to send an email to the client, but the mail didn't go through, though I cannot blame it on the bot, as it had something to do with the other application or service and not UiPath.

UiPath also helped free up employee time. The team calculated the OMDA for each business unit so each unit could focus on a more critical task, for example, where employees can be more innovative. The reflected hours were decreased by up to fifty hours due to bot usage, but it still depends on the business case. A small bot could save up to twenty to twenty-five hours, and in some cases, a bot can save up to one hundred fifty hours.

Initially, UiPath didn't help my organization save on cost, but in the long run, it did.

What needs improvement?

My organization hardly faced any issues with UiPath, except for a policy issue, mainly when my organization had to do automation inside a Citrix environment. Before that, the organization had to install another component from UiPath inside the Citrix environment separately. The team couldn't find the selectors it was trying to work with until it installed a component, which may be considered an area for improvement.

There are also many security protocols in the organization, and the team also worked with PCI bots. Sometimes, there was a block if the application didn't have the latest upgrade. There was a security block because, manually, people still worked with the older versions, but the bot wanted the latest upgrade from the application, so in some cases, there was a delay or failure, or the bot got killed. It was a mixed bag, so I cannot say it was one hundred percent successful, which is another area for improvement.

In the future, I would prefer UiPath to have built-in AI activities that an organization can quickly adopt, so you won't have to go to a third party dedicated to working with building AI components.

For how long have I used the solution?

I worked with UiPath for two or three years until the start of this year, but now I've switched to another technology, such as DevOps.

How are customer service and support?

In terms of UiPath technical support, A dedicated person attends to my organization's needs. You can email that POC, for example, when you need to register a license or device, and the response time is usually one to two days.

My rating for UiPath technical support is seven out of ten. The speed of response could be faster, and it would be better if support were more interactive, where the team could reach out to my organization monthly to check if it needed help or had some struggles with the solution.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Neutral

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Before UiPath, I used Blue Prism. I found that UiPath was more user-friendly than Blue Prism, as even non-technical users can use it through the drag-and-drop functionality. UiPath also has a more enterprise approach. The UiPath Academy was also free, which helped a lot of beginners.

What about the implementation team?

My organization had a COE deployment where the COE team was responsible for installing UiPath. My team also builds local robots from some of the ad hoc requests, so my team does the deployment for that.

What was our ROI?

We've seen ROI from some of the UiPath bots. Still, it was quite a journey because, at first, there were many apprehensions within the organization and the teams, primarily about backups, and nobody understood that robots could be a piece of software and not a physical type of robot. It took over two years to establish trust, and from there on, it was comparatively easy.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

We found the pricing for UiPath reasonable. We compared it with Blue Prism and Automation Anywhere, and based on features and pricing, UiPath stood out.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We evaluated Automation Anywhere and Blue Prism, but Automation Anywhere had many limitations compared to UiPath. Blue Prism, on the other hand, was expensive, so we settled for UiPath.

What other advice do I have?

If I remember correctly, the version of UiPath I last used was the 2020 version.

I used the UiPath User Community sparingly. I logged in to see what other users were saying, and that was it.

My organization didn't use the tool's AI functionality for automation as it was still experimenting with chatbots, so with a chatbot, RPA, and handshake, my team didn't go that far.

In the organization, UiPath was deployed on-premises.

My rating for UiPath is eight out of ten.

I'm a UiPath customer. It's a tool used in my organization.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Great for automating processes, saves time, and cuts down on errors
Pros and Cons
  • "It's likely freed up human time by 10% or more."
  • "There are some functionality limitations on UiPath that we could have access to on different platforms."

What is our primary use case?

We use multiple types of applications, including SAP. I work on contract documents with UiPath mostly. I work with different clients in different companies. We use the solution to automate processes. It helps by reading contract documents and updating details in SAP applications.

How has it helped my organization?

We use a lot of document understanding. It reads the documents for us. I had a document understanding from UiPAth about two years ago. They helped us understand how it would work. With it, we were able to build a solution for invoices and purchase orders.

What is most valuable?

I like that we can work with different types of classifications. Whenever you classify a document using an ML model, there is a license associated with it. However, the intelligent classifier doesn't consume any of the licenses unless there is a specific amount of usage on the respective document. We process around a thousand documents per day and the classification is free. It helped us process all of these documents. We were able to train our ML models easily.

Building automation with UiPath is very easy compared to others. The UI is easy. There's a community forum where you can request help. They also have a marketplace to help you find customized solutions.

Previously, a turnaround time for a particular process was two to three days. Once we automate the process, we can handle the process in three hours. The turnaround times have improved a lot. We've drastically reduced our turnaround time on each transaction we handle. That's reduced our costs by quite a lot. That said, I don't have an exact figure off the top of my head.

The user community and forums are great. They are really impressive. When I started in RPA, it was difficult to find help or to help others. The forum gives us the platform we need to help each other and source solutions to problems. It's now easy to find answers. It helps a lot.

We use the AI functionality. I've used it for 1.5 years. It offers good functionality. However, you need to have a good understanding of how to use the resource effectively.

We've achieved 80% to 90% now using AI.

We can automate more processes now. We need to do a proper assessment first to see what we can get from AI. However, there's functionality beyond document understanding. That said, finding the right use cases can be difficult.

We've sped up digital transformation and the cost surrounding it. It also wasn't expensive to do so. We can go ahead with minimal cost. We just need to align the solution with the right resources.

It's reduced human error. We have the functionality to capture business exceptions. If we need human confirmation, it will get sent to the action center. However, by automating, we've reduced the need for humans. We've reduced human error by 20% to 30%. The bot will capture data in areas where in the past humans may have made mistakes.

The bot has freed up employee time. We do have attended automation. If there are tasks needed for humans, we've created the process in such a way that they can do these tasks and then spend the rest of their time on other activities. It's likely freed up human time by 10% or more. We'd only work on processes where there is a minimum of 10% reduction in human time.

What needs improvement?

There are a few bugs and a few things on the technical side where certain features are not available.

There are some functionality limitations on UiPath that we could have access to on different platforms.

If we have to move the model to production, we have to download it and upload it again.

For how long have I used the solution?

I've used the solution for seven years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

The solution is stable as long as you maintain it in a proper way. You need an admin and support team to take care of performance.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

We work mostly with enterprise-level organizations.

The solution is scalable.

How are customer service and support?

Technical support is good. If I have questions, they help me. However, I've had colleagues who have raised tickets and had trouble resolving issues. I personally have never had issues.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We did not use other solution other than UiPath. However, I have done some small POCs in others. I've used Automation Anywhere, for example. There are different commands in AA and a few different features, however, they are both accurate and efficient.

How was the initial setup?

I've set up the solution. The deployment takes a few hours. There may be software and hardware requirements If everything is there, it might take one or two days to get everything up and running.

You may need to maintain your production servers after setup to make sure the bots keep running. We might have other weekly or monthly maintenance tasks to ensure everything is performing as expected.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The solution is growing in price. It's getting to be too expensive. While I like the solutions they are providing, they need to balance the cost so that they can stay competitive in the market.

What other advice do I have?

I'm a customer.

I would recommend the solution, however, new users need to be mindful of the cost. If they have the budget, they should go with UiPath.

I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Hybrid Cloud
