UKG Scalability

DA
Associate Manager at a educational organization with 201-500 employees

I have dealt with more than 80 clients who use UKG. It is quite a scalable solution. Currently, if you need support in any of the modules, UKG comes as a complete or whole solution. Also, it can be the only solution to manage your whole HCM environment. Scalability-wise, I rate this solution an eight and a half out of ten. Also, I would like to add that I consider it closer to nine.

It is very scalable. We have a thousand users at max who use the system today. We have all kinds of roles from general users to payroll administrators, etc. We have 18 different solutions in it for performance, case management, file management, learning, payroll, reporting, etc.

We have been trying to improve adaptability since we went live. Over 90% of our user base have walked in and used the system. So, it has been successful. We're trying to improve our customer base and keep exploring its capabilities.

Its scalability is good. I don't see any issue with that at all.

The employee self-service feature is used by all 50,000 employees we have. The HR and payroll administrative users are limited. We have about 100 users for that.

I don't know about the plans to expand its usage. If we expand, the user base will expand too, but, as of now, I don't see it changing.

No issues with scalability. In fact, we've grown by approximately 100+ employees since we first went live on the application and we've not run into any issues with the growth or expansion.

I work for a small hospital. We have approximately 650 employees and managers. The managers use UKG to edit and approve cards and we have approximately 60 managers. We have two administrators, I am one of them, and the other person is in HR. Kronos went to Dimensions and its UKG Dimensions, that's cloud-based now too. Our IT department doesn't have to do a lot, they only make sure our internet is up and running, it is great. Anybody who's still using Kronos Workforce Central Java needs to quit. That's always been a nightmare, it always will be. However,  if they go to Dimensions it runs well.

It seems scalable. We probably have more than 2,000 users on this solution.

Everyone in the company uses it at different levels. Managers have a different type of access. My manager can see all of my information and my colleagues' information. I can't see anybody beyond me.

We don't seem to have any plans to increase its usage. It is already being used completely. I believe the last model we deployed was case management so that we can raise tickets directly to the HR department.

The scalability is very relational to specific use cases. Our company, for example, is growing. The solution, so far, is able to expand with us and offer us what we need. That said, it's hard in our business to determine the answer with regard to scalability, due to the fact that there are so many different factors that could affect scalability and its usefulness as well.
