I have evaluated other solutions, such as Cisco and Fortinet.

The platform's pricing is not low and not high. It's affordable for enterprise and mid-sized businesses.

We are working with four different technologies at the moment. It depends on the choice made by the customer. We can't suggest technology in any case until we talk with the customer.

We tried solutions by three vendors before we selected EdgeConnect. For example, we tried to use Riverbed but it did not work for us. The problem has to do with load balancing and managing traffic.

We have one link that is 2GB with 800 milliseconds, and the second one is 1GB with 200 milliseconds. The other vendors were not able to handle these connections.

The solution is new to Egypt so customers don't know it well. They are experienced with Riverbed and we are becoming experienced with the solution. 

WAN optimization is used by huge businesses in Egypt. Gartner is the flagship tool but we follow this and feel the solution is a better option. 

The solution is a wonderful product based on the user guide, sheets we receive, and demo presentations. The SD-WAN and WAN optimization are unique features. 

As Silver Peak Unity EdgeConnect is nearing end-of-life, our license with it is expiring and we are procuring a new solution.

I know all this from my searching among other vendors. Cisco is the most complex - they have many elements involved. Cisco Meraki is basically simple. It's super, but they have some features that they are working with right now. They have some limitations, too. I think Fortinet has some limitations, too, mostly in the way they work with the high availability and the packet server connections.
