Veeam Backup & Replication Primary Use Case

Sanjeev Roy
Project Manager at renaissance group
Our primary use case with Veeam Backup & Replication is as the intermediate agent. Veeam integrates devices between the main server and the replication station. We set this resolution between the main server and our replication machine. It is getting images from VMware. We serve up with Veeam and it responds to the daily load. With Veeam Backup & Replication, replicated servers will be picked up again from the new location station machine. Now our table updates are available automatically. We get a lot of features with Veeam and we are happy to use this solution. After shutdown, the servers here automatically turn off and Veeam is keeping up all this. It's tension free work. We are using Veeam at our college and we have been connected for a while now. We use it for backing up virtual servers in the Hyperwave and it is working very well. It works well for backing up services. We can backup Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Sharepoint and it is actually easy to understand how to restore from it. It has an easy UI. View full review »

Veeam is our primary backup system used with the DD2500 for the repository. We use Veeam 9.5 Update 3 on a physical Windows 2016 server with Proxy servers deployed 1 per host in our HA Cluster. We also use the Enterprise Plus licensing for Nimble Snapshot Integration for backups and this allows our backup window to be reduced. View full review »

We are a Veeam distributor and this is one of the solutions that we use, and also implement for our clients. We have been using an on-premises deployment. It is installed in our VMs, and we have created a backup repository. It performs a daily incremental backup, and on the weekend it performs a full backup. View full review »
