I was also considering Alteryx but I chose this solution because of the cost.

We took a look at Tricentis Tosca and SmartBear TestComplete a few months ago but nothing has been finalized. We're looking for an alternative to Visual Studio Test Professional. 

I know that for Java or for other programs like Python, you can use multiple development tools or client tools. But in Microsoft's case, I've never heard of someone using anything else than Visual Studio Test Professional. 

We did not evaluate other options. This solution was released while we were using third-party tools, and once that happened we knew that we had to use it because of the integration.  

Any other automation tool that supports C#.
