We found that most of the use cases we needed were for mobile devices, such as Android and iOS. In one of the use cases, we wanted to use a secured email on iOS. Since we have Workspace ONE, we have what is called the Box application. We wanted to make use of the Box application and push it from VMware. We also wanted to make use of accesses such as a gateway or VPN to gain access to our internal resources.

The solution can be deployed on-prem or in the cloud.

VMware Workspace ONE facilitates application management on mobile devices.

Moreover, VMware is not limited to mobile devices; it's also used for Windows 10, 11, and Mac management. 

We've actually started engaging with that. Among the large deals involving 20,000 to 25,000 users, we're working on that one, like putting different backbone issues together.

We deploy AirWatch on the mobile devices of our employees. 

I use the solution in my company since we have some applications running on it.

Due to limited access, we have limited access control.We are using VMware Workspace ONE mainly for access control. Actually, as per our requirements, the product provider offers us conditional access. I think no other product provides this type of criteria. That's why we are using it.

The solution's use cases can vary depending on the organization. For example, we have deployed projects for BYOD, Mac Management, and Windows Management solutions. Each project is different and tailored to the specific needs of the organization. One of the benefits for our customers is the ease of use with a single platform to manage all devices. The dashboard is visually appealing and provides compliance insights for CIOs and CTOs to review.

I'm a reseller and help our customers implement the solution. We're using version 20.

Most of our customers deploy the solution on a public cloud. It's the VMware shared cloud. Most of our customers are small enterprises because most of the businesses in Hong Kong are small. Our customers usually have 20 to 100 devices.

There are two distributors in Hong Kong. We buy from the distributor, resell the solution, and we help other IT or telecom companies to implement the solution for their customers because they don't have professionals to do it.

I use Workspace ONE for my work with Homeland Security, but we're getting rid of it. VMware is the current mobile user platform for Homeland Security, specifically weapons of mass destruction. I've been consulting with them for the last four years, and I moved over to weapons of mass destruction four months ago. 

They're switching from VMware to Intune, and I was concerned with the due diligence. They've made a decision. and I'm helping them make that transition so that they can properly integrate the state and local devices for detecting chemical, biological, and nuclear attacks.

I just know some people at VMware at the senior level, and I talk to them when necessary. Homeland Security wasn't using the product how they should and they didn't reach out to VMware to identify the holes in the processes or inadequacies of the application that could've been addressed. 

The people in the weapons of mass destruction division didn't have the technical competencies to understand the software solutions, so they brought in a consulting company called Mobile Mentor, which is an Intune reseller. I told them that wasn't a reason to switch. 

We use the product to manage the device.

I'm using the solution to manage all cabinets in our company. It's essential for our business. 

We have multiple use cases for VMware Workspace ONE. The main use case for VMware Workspace ONE is offline domain drawing. 

We don't have any limits for Windows 10 Enterprise, because if you want to go for the endpoint management, it's a need to have Enterprise Edition for Windows 10 devices.

The product enables us to access our internal applications through any device from anywhere.

The solution is good for controlling mobile devices centrally. When you have a distributed network, it's able to easily manage and centralize.

We have some VMware products, and the company uses Workspace ONE since we use the virtualization product, VMware. This is just a virtualization product. 

In work before, we have used the VMware direct connection.

We use Workspace ONE for managing devices. We can create users who can only use systems in the cloud.

We used AirWatch or VMware Workspace ONE to protect mobile devices on a large scale. They were known for being focused on mobile, more than desktops. They may not be as good on desktops, but the main use case is to monitor and manage mobile endpoints, e.g. wireless devices such as  tablets and phones. AirWatch became well known for being really good at monitoring and managing mobile endpoints.

The primary use case was to containerize data and allow us to deploy applications securely. That was the use case that was predicated on and funded as a security initiative.

VMware Workspace ONE is an MDM solution that we use to manage mobile devices, laptops, IoT devices, and iPads.

My clients are using VMware Workspace ONE for information protection and enterprise mobility management.

We use VMware Workspace ONE for our mobile devices. We are not building Workspace ONE; we are maintaining mobile device compliance and corporate device tracking compliance.

We create policies, push apps, and enable users to download apps according to the ASA request and the company requests.

We've had a full range of use cases. It's great for community colleges or remote workers. Onsite it can be on desktops or mobile. It has the ability to wipe mobile devices. You can lock them down or control them.

Obviously, with COVID, the remote workforce has been a huge driver.

I had one client that had a bunch of gyms where you got to work out and they deployed Workspace One across all of them and used that just to serve all the desktops. That way everything was uniform, and everything was the same patching level. It just simplified management. That's one example of a specific use-case.

All the use cases are related to Salesforce and people who are working outside the office. Sometimes, they register their PCs inside the office in Workspace ONE to manage them and push some software or install it remotely and some kind of things.

VMware Workspace ONE can be deployed in the cloud and on-premise.

The main use case for VMware Workspace ONE is for customers who are looking for a single tool for all their device management needs and have had limitations with respect to Mac specifically and virtual reality devices with other solutions such as Intune. They can move to VMware Workspace ONE, where they can have all kinds of support.

I use the solution in my company for use cases where we need a tool that allows for easy management, especially in areas like mobile management.

Our primary use case is to control the email services for mobile devices and we are controlling that just to avoid leakage of the information for those devices.

The solution has VMware Horizon embedded which allows the utilization of many types of applications. We inform our clients how they can use this tool to convert applications and move them inside any type of device, such as tablets and smartphones.

There is a lot to learn in the process, you need to create a new policy to include mobility and security. The security policy is important when it comes to mobility. You have VMware Workspace ONE with Horizon, to bring the older type of devices, such as bring your own device (BYOD), all consolidated in the same console.

You can make many types of applications available, not only applications developed for mobility or smartphone but any older types of applications can be brought together. We showcase all these features to our clients for them to have an understanding of what can be created by this type of system. Because of the pandemic, the mobility market here in Brazil will soon grow and there is a need for innovating, the purchases of this solution have grown a lot in the last year.

We currently have 50-100 employees, and are growing towards 100 employees. We use some of our devices quite confidentially, and we use AirWatch to protect those devices. We want to separate personal data, and the company data because our employees are using their personal smart phone to access our email. It is just for data the email.

We use it for containerization and email management, EMM.

We used it for the backup and restore. If you have some sort of data that you've lost, you can restore from a previous snapshot.

We deploy this solution for enterprise-size organizations. We are VMware partners and resellers. I am the CEO of a system integration company.

VMware Workspace ONE is used mainly for mobile device management.

We deploy Workspace ONE for our customers for Windows, Mac, and modern desktop Windows 10 management. It also provides MDM capability and application push for their mobile devices. That's the use case we are focusing on — application push and patch management. That's the modern management we are doing right now.

We are resellers of this solution. The general use case for VMware Workspace ONE is when we need a virtual desktop.

One of our customers used it for centralizing and managing the identity and access of a SaaS-based solution. They used Workspace ONE to provide identity-based services and authentication, such as MFA. It integrates with Microsoft Office, Google Cloud, and things of that nature.

It is deployed in the cloud with a tie-in. It synchronizes to on-prem.

We use this solution for mobile device management. At the moment, we are focused on managing iPhones.

We use VMware Workspace ONE for our Android devices. I also use it for handheld scanners.

We are working with its latest version. In terms of deployment, it is a mix. Some of our customers opt for the on-prem model, and some of our customers want a site-based model.

We have many use cases in our customer's environment and use this solution to manage applications on devices. We have clients with Android devices, Apple devices with macOS, and Rugged devices with Windows CE.

We use it for handheld devices that have been corporately issued. They can include recognized devices whether they are connected to inventory, sales, or route delivery.

In the main, our primary use case is for controlling mobile devices and deployment of mobile device applications inside the company. We are consultants and implementers and I'm the presales project manager.

This solution is primarily used for mobility services. The solution has been mainly used for multiple platforms, including Android, Linux-based services, Windows, and MacBooks. If you want to access your organization data from anywhere, from any device, you do it via this solution.

It's all about centralizing your data and making sure that your data is centralized and secure. Instead of putting your data on a laptop, you can put it centrally and there you can have full control over it. It's about centralizing the data and making sure it's not jeopardized. It stays legitimate and unchanged. It doesn't get hacked. It's all about centralizing the data and having control over your data.

We use Workspace ONE with our shared devices.

The standard features and securities are packed with flexibilities to enable and disable in accordance with the customer’s business operational process and IT Helpdesk process.

My primary use case is we have a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) policy. The employees have their own devices and to separate the corporate data from the personal data, we are using Airwatch. We monitor all dual aspects; we monitor email management and content management.

We use this solution simply for the management of iPads.

We use it for managing BYOD devices and also for government-furnished devices - we support the Department of Energy. We use it for about 1500 devices.

We use it against security breaches. We have a lot of corporate information, which is highly confidential. We don't want that information to be leaked. We have AirWatch to avoid allowing everybody access to all the information and using it. Once an employee's device is enrolled, everything is under security, so there won't be any opportunities for security breaches.

My customer is a Microsoft and Apple site, 99 percent of the system in Windows Servers, and the company gives every manager an iPad or iPad Pro (500-plus devices).

We deployed the MDM functionality of AirWatch to control all devices and MEM is the next step. We are struggling in MBM/MAM because all the applications are IE compatible.
