When I joined my current company, I initially explored Apache Kafka, but I realized that Kafka is primarily a log system rather than a queuing system. I encountered limitations with Kafka, such as maintaining pointers for each process and manually removing messages from the queue.
Comparatively, RabbitMQ proved to be more convenient as it automatically deletes messages from the queue when using auto or manual acknowledgment. Considering these factors, we switched from Kafka to this solution due to its efficiency.
To my knowledge, this is the only queuing system my company has used.

We tested some earlier version of Apache Kafka, but it wasn't stable enough at the time. At the moment, we're considering switching back to Apache Kafka.
View full review »Our initial solution was a simple web API. We quickly realized that it would be difficult to maintain.
Scalability and reliability were my primary concerns. HTTP has no reliable delivery built-in, like AMQP does. Changing API versions would have been more difficult if we had stuck with HTTP.

We did not have a previous solution.
View full review »We evaluated a variety of message products and found that for the feature set RabbitMQ was the best.
View full review »Initially, we were using different queuing technologies. Due to the message routing feature and flexibility that RabbitMQ provided, we made the switch to this tool.

Other departments might use, for example, Kafka, however, I'm unsure as I have no visibility on them.

This is the first solution we implemented.

View full review »We previously used MSMQ. Apparently, it is not as good as RabbitMQ in terms of the features offered.
View full review »We have used DBus and ZeroMQ. We wanted something more reliable and simple, so we switched over to this tool.
We have used different solutions before. We have tried MySQL as a queue and it was terrible.
View full review »Previously, we were using MSMQ, which is the Microsoft Message Queuing service. However, with the new version of .NET 4, support for MSMQ was no longer available. We could no longer get the libraries. As a result, we had to switch to a different queue mechanism.
I have also used Azure Queue.
View full review »I have used IBM MQ software, but it was not applicable to this application.
View full review »Initially, we were using the BizTalk and Redis solutions. The reason why we switched over was because we were looking for better support in Celery task management and other programming languages. We were looking for a much more stable and secure solution.
View full review »I am not aware of any previous solutions.
