VMware Aria Operations for Logs Other Advice

My company has close to forty users of vRealize Log Insight.

For the deployment of vRealize Log Insight, one architect is required for one week, then one SME for two weeks, so overall, three weeks is good enough for the solution to be deployed in an environment with one thousand servers to manage.

I'd strongly recommend vRealize Log Insight if you're running a VMware environment or if you're running a virtualized environment using VMware or VCF or VMware Cloud. I'd recommend the solution even if you have any other cloud environment because vRealize Log Insight would be a better platform to overall manage your on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environment easily. Another advantage of the solution is that it can also integrate with your network and other hardware and software devices, so you would be able to manage your entire IT estate using just one single tool which is vRealize Log Insight, so I would strongly recommend it to anyone thinking of purchasing the solution.

My rating for vRealize Log Insight is nine out of ten.

I'm an end-user of vRealize Log Insight.

Overall, I would rate this product a ten out of ten.

I've recommended this product to friends who work for other companies because companies use different products. We also use vSAN, which is quite a good product as well.

VMware should provide comprehensive training for individuals tasked with managing their systems. However, the cost of VMware training is currently prohibitively high. Overall, I would rate it nine out of ten.

It is a new integration. We can visualize the parameters better once all the systems and features are fully deployed. Overall, I rate the product an eight out of ten.

I rate vRealize Log Insight seven out of 10. It is a good option for monitoring VMware products, but I need to set up a management solution for other products, and sometimes it is not free.

If you are planning to deploy Log Insight, you need to understand the architecture, environment size, and features you want to get from the solution.  You don't want to pay for features you don't need. You also need to ensure your infrastructure is compatible.

VMware Aria Operations for Logs is a very stable product that we have been using for quite some time in our company, and we are very happy with whatever support we are getting from VMware.

Even if you are a first-time user of VMware Aria Operations for Logs, you will find the deployment phase to be easy.

The documentation by VMware is very good.

The product has been promoted enough to be visible in the market.

I haven't tried to integrate the product with other third-party solutions. My company already has a VMware infrastructure in place.

I rate the overall tool an eight out of ten.

The product's maintenance phase is easy.

One person can manage the product's maintenance phase, which involves areas like the product's upgrades, updates, and monitoring.

VMware Aria Operations for Logs is a good tool since it is possible to integrate it with all major public clouds. With VMware Aria Operations for Logs, you can adapt to a single solution that offers centralized monitoring on hybrid clouds or multi-cloud environments.

I rate the overall tool a nine out of ten.

I would absolutely recommend using this solution.

Overall, I would rate the solution a seven out of ten.

My advice to people looking at Log Insight as a monitoring tool is that it is good and that they can go ahead and go for it because it is a good solution.

On a scale from one to ten (where one is the worst and ten is the best), I would rate the product overall as an eight-of-ten.

I rate LogInsight seven out of 10. I give it a seven because it isn't easy to scale, and the cost is too high, but it's a good product overall.

Customers should have a test environment to keep abreast with the latest software available in the industry. They can evaluate it and check themselves as well. Partners like us can help them make the right decision, but it's useful for customers to have their own test environment.

We use the on-premises deployment model. We're also platinum partners.

In terms of advice to others, if they're looking for a basic VMware solution, it's okay. We've tried other options. Log Insight seems to be better than other solutions in terms of very good integrations and working out items to be able to log.

I'd rate the solution nine out of ten. All of our must-haves are available in this product.

I personally am not actively using the solution for searching for logs or creating log analysis. I'm just using it for a few needs here and there when we have some requirements.

It depends on a company's use cases, but I would advise that if they've got the infrastructure and it is all based on VMware, they should use Log Insight despite the price. I personally have more preference for the open-source tools but because of the price, also. However, Log Insight is quite good and very useful.

I'd rate the solution seven out of ten. It's a good product, but it has room for improvement and could improve upon the pricing.

I would recommend the solution to others. They will save money is they use it. It's also good for maintaining the hardware.

We are system integrators so we don't use this solution completely, we use the applications or services fully, we just make sure to go through the features and do our best to use them, and then we sell them.

There may be some aspects that VMware needs to improve on, but we haven't used all of the features so it is difficult to know all that needs to be improved.

We try to understand how it works, and the dynamics of the solution to sell it.

It provides multiple platforms, you can use a Windows Operating System, you can Mac, and you can use Linux on a particular server.

It allows us to do virtualization with different operating system platforms. I like that about this solution.

I have not worked with all of the features, but I can say that this product provides most of the capabilities that customers need.

It's easy to set up.

I would recommend this solution.

If you give a solution a ten out of ten there is nothing to be improved upon. There is always room for improvement as there are always upgrades.

I cannot give a ten when I know there are things to improve.

Technology is evolving and the world is going virtual, so they need to step up their game.

I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.
