Webex Previous Solutions
We also use Microsoft Teams in our organization. We prefer Microsoft Teams because it is more integrated, has E5 licensing from Microsoft, and is easier for corporations to use.

My company has experience with other solutions, but we switched to Webex since it provides an appointment scheduler compatible with Cisco solutions.

Nowadays, my company prefers to use Microsoft Teams over Webex, especially if there are only 10 to 25 people needed in a meeting.

I'm also familiar with Zoom and Google Meet. We use these as well as WebEx. In fact, before we started using WebEx, we used Google Meet specifically.
Prior to that, we had more physical, in-person meetings, however, the pandemic has changed how we do meetings now, and we do much more virtual meetings.
WebEx is more secure than, for example, Zoom.

I have a preference for alternative tools. Regarding conferences, Webex is acceptable. I want to be honest with you about this. Connecting on Webex is actually easy. I would consider it to be on par with Zoom in terms of overall quality. However, I'm aware that some external users from the company's perspective have encountered certain issues that have hindered their conversations. Honestly, they weren't particularly enthusiastic about this solution. When I need to communicate with these external customers through Webex, they tend to choose another tool. This doesn't inspire much confidence in me, but I understand it's a personal matter. Perhaps the design could be improved, but that's also just my personal opinion. Apart from that, I believe Webex has all the necessary features. As a regular Zoom user, I simply prefer to stick with Zoom based on my own experiences and preferences. Additionally, I find it more useful to use Zoom for both personal and team purposes.
For my ideal solution, I would suggest taking the best features from various tools. For instance, I would incorporate Slack's messaging capabilities and Zoom's audio-video functionality. That combination would be perfect for me. If it were possible to also include elements from other platforms like Telegram and Webex, it would further enhance the overall solution.

We made the transition from Webex to Microsoft Teams and now use Teams for the most part.
The reason that we moved is that we're a Microsoft shop and we have a relationship with them. Microsoft is a diamond partner whereas Cisco is a gold partner.
We have seen this as a general pattern, where people move away from WebEx into either Teams or other collaboration tools. Webex is in the cloud but if they had more economical options, or any additional features compared to Teams and other products, it might be a value add.

Prior to Webex we used an audio conferencing solution called Arkadin. We only switched to web conferencing when we moved to Cisco Webex. We had also used Skype but it wasn't very effective. We would use audio Arkadin conferencing and if we needed to screen share we'd use Skype.
We are now using Zoom and it seems Zoom requires more customizations than Webex. Zoom required setting changes before allowing everyone to join meetings and the default settings were not good. Zoom does have the private chat option which Webex doesn't have and I found that very useful.

We were previously using GoToMeeting in which we would share our screens but I think in Webex there's a whiteboard, where you can draw. I don't think we had that option with GoToMeeting.

I have used Microsoft Teams along with other solutions like Webex, and in comparison, Teams stands out for its seamless integration with Office 365. The compatibility with business needs makes Teams a preferred choice. While both Teams and Webex serve their purposes, the ease of use and integration with Microsoft's suite of tools make Teams a more convenient option for me.

I am working in research and consulting sales. The majority of the products I use are from Microsoft, such as Excel.
We do use Skype, as well as VMware for virtual connections.
The main difference in using Skype is that it's all integrated with all of your Microsoft Teams and Microsoft applications. That's a significant distinction. I believe Webex is also integrated to some extent, but I believe Skype is more easily integrated with Teams.

We have been using Webex since I first entered the company in 2012 or 2013, as the company places a premium on fiscal solutions. It is for this reason that it adopted this technology from the outset.
The solution combines its hardware and camera features to give it a superior edge over all others, with the camera moving in pace with the person who is communicating with other participants. I consider this to be the solution's most valuable feature and have not encountered it with Zoom, which is basically geared towards one-on-one meetings.

I also use Microsoft Teams. I use both right now.
We used Microsoft Teams, however, we changed to WebEx as the main channel due to the noise cancellation that wasn't good enough on Teams. Also, Microsoft Teams used a lot of resources on the operating system - so much so that the computer started to go slow when we used the application.
