I will tell those planning to use the solution that they need to consider it's used for their small-sized customers since it is a great solution.

I rate the overall solution an eight out of ten.

We’re using something around version 9. It’s updated periodically and automatically.

If client-facing reports are not crucial to a company, then it might be a good solution candidate.

I’d rate the solution five out of ten.

We’re resellers, and we do have some clients that aren't managed that are on standalone web licenses for their enterprise. However, our MM provider has it integrated as a part of their service. There are three antivirus vendors that you can choose from in there from a dollar to a dollar and a quarter a piece, so we just go through them to get it.

I recommend the product to those who plan to use it.

There are a lot of endpoint security protection products available in the market that people should compare and evaluate before deciding on a specific tool. From my experience, I would say the pricing of different products needs to be checked carefully, considering how my employer paid too much money for quite some time.

I rate the overall tool an eight out of ten.

The problem with Webroot is that they were acquired by OpenText. OpenText has acquired several products, and now it's confusing as to the scope of products OpenText is selling to support Webroot because they have several competitive products.

I rate Webroot Business Endpoint Protection an eight out of ten.

I do not consider Webroot the best product compared to other competitors. Although, it requires minimum resources and is very simple to use. But protection-wise, I advise others to consider different products as well.

I rate it an eight out of ten.

I'd recommend this solution. Overall, on a scale from one to ten, I'd give Webroot a rating of nine. It's hard for me to say just how good it is as I haven't ever been hit by any malware. I guess it's doing its job.

We're using the latest version of SecureAnywhere, which is for the MSP side. We have a multitenant setup. We have about 2,400 agents deployed currently, and that's what we're using for protection for our clients. We haven't had too many attacks, however, we have had some ransomware situations for some of our clients and that's what caused us to initiate our evaluation project. Webroot used to be really good when they first came out, but now they've completely fallen behind, sadly.

I would advise others to skip Webroot. It doesn't provide adequate levels of protection at this point. They would need to evolve, or improve, their prevention and detection engines before I would recommend their services.

I'd rate the solution three out of ten overall.

The advice I'd give is just to make sure you get something. We had an interview with some clients today. We asked about endpoint solutions on their computers, and they didn't have any. Then, we asked about their servers and got the same answer. I told them to find something, even if it is a free one, and put it there.

I'd rate it a nine out of ten just because of that 94% catch rate. Otherwise, I would've rated it higher.

Harmony has all the features that Webroot does not have like URL zero phishing protection.

My recommendation is definitely to start using Webroot. It's very easy to deploy and a scalable cybersecurity solution. There is no requirement for learning, straightforward installation and deployment are user-friendly.

I rate it eight out of ten.

To implement endpoint protection, Webroot is a good product. On a scale from 1 to 10, I would rate this product an eight. Maybe it could be better.

I've had no significant virus problems since I installed it. For us, that's what it's all about.

I've been a Webroot partner for many, many years.

I'd rate the solution at a nine out of ten. If they had OTX integration and the ability to  do in-process OTX API Calls on the endpoint for 1st time and update: URLs, IP addresses, Domain Names and Telephone Nos, Email Addresses and newly defined Data Classes, maybe I'd make it a Ten out of Ten.

We're just customers. We aren't consultants or resellers.

We're using the most up to date version of the solution. All of our users are geographically diverse, so we're basically all diversely distributed.

At the moment it's a great product. They recently got acquired by Carbonite and I'm still trying to sort out what the fallout is from a corporate standpoint. Otherwise, for the near term, it's a good product. We're just a bit worried due to the fact that we've dealt with other products from Carbonite in the past and it's left a bad taste in our mouth. We're kind of looking around for other options on the assumption that the Carbonite is going to put their touch on this and destroy it like the other solutions.

Currently, as it stands as a product now, I would rate it seven out of ten overall.

Setup two-factor for the admin console, give "manager" clients access to their own consoles (good PR), and keep a set of shortcut links to the pre-configured install images for each client (if you are using that model). Otherwise, you have to login to download a crafted version for the account, and that sometimes (compromised network) is not a good idea (reveals credentials).

On a scale from one to ten, I would give Webroot Business Endpoint Protection an eight.

The only reason I've dropped it down now is that they're just not including the additional items like Sentinel One. They haven't added ransomware and TrueBlue artificial intelligence, and those kinds of things. If they build those into it, they would be able to pump it back up again.

We're just a cutomer. We don't have a business relationship with the company.

As we are using the cloud deployment model, we are always on the latest version of the solution.

I don't recommend the solution to others. It didn't protect us in the way we needed to and an attack was able to get through their defenses.

Overall, I would rate the solution six out of ten. We haven't had a very good experience with it.

My advice about this product is that it is a very good solution and offers a stable and trusted software that runs smoothly and is easy to deploy. It was missing some features that were desirable like reporting, but it was good a solution. I really do not know why they are not providing the product anymore, especially considering that most people right now are using tablets and mobiles — not computers as much as before. Their policy has them heading in another business direction. I would have preferred to stay with the product.

On a scale from one to ten where one is the worst and ten is the best, I would rate Webroot Endpoint Protection as about an eight. But even concerning adding reporting and maybe some other minor features, I do not think the product would be a ten because I am convinced there is no software product that is absolutely perfect. A ten is something I have not seen before.

We use the cloud deployment model. We originally used the paid version, which was a complete version of the solution. We don't use the solution extensively; it's a very budgeted amount. We need more advanced capabilities than we can get with Webroot.

For companies who do not suffer advanced attacks, Webroot will be amazing for them and very budget-friendly for their business. However, companies will need to search for an expansion into areas like PCI compliance. For attacks, it's better to go over to more advanced protection. It can provide you the forensics and the EDR automation needed to avoid any attacks.

I'd rate the solution eight out of ten. The solution isn't perfect, but it's good.
