We evaluated MuleSoft because of the use cases at the time that MuleSoft did not have. The first feature we wanted was workflows, and we found that developing workflows in a Workato recipe was easier than in MuleSoft. Secondly, the price of MuleSoft was high, and Workato was cheaper. Thirdly, because we had a limited number of use cases, there was time sensitivity in choosing a solution. But now, if I had to choose between MuleSoft and Workato, I would choose MuleSoft.

We also tried out Zapier, but were met with a lot of limitations. For example, their Salesforce update object action does not work well. They had a workaround ,but it was very cumbersome.
