Our previous solution was developed specifically for the bank and it was not as clean or clear to use as this solution.
View full review »I'm currently working as the Head of Delivery and taking care of all the ERP projects from Upshoot. The practices that come under my purview are Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle Fusion, and Kronos timekeeping (now UKG Workforce Dimensions).
We switched to Workday because of the scalability, feasibility, and flexibility of the product. So we liked the user-friendliness and how the system is kind of robust.

I've used some competitor tools. Another tool in the space that tends to be more for small and medium enterprises is Kronos. That's the one where I cut my teeth initially. I switched to Workday because it was a job opportunity. I had taken a position and learned the technology, and that has been more or less my focus or bread and butter for the last eight years. My current company had already rolled out the technology to some extent, and when I was hired, we rolled out additional functionalities.

We previously used a very old, end-of-life system.

I've used different HR management systems. I might have used Oracle HR, but I am not sure.
View full review »We went from Legacy ERP to Workday. We switched because of its simplicity, ease of use, and a lot simpler and easier user interface.
View full review »In terms of RP products, I work with UiPath, Studio, Orchestrator, and AI Center, which are included with UiPath. Process mining is available, but I have not used it. Perhaps I'll use it in the future.
I use Office and other activities on a regular basis, but nothing specific.
We don't use Microsoft because we have our own tools. We have internal resources.

Andy Huntley
Director of HR at a healthcare company with 11-50 employees
The client had actually used ADP. From a software point of view, ADP was originally a loan/bookkeeping company/accountancy up in New York. That's how they started. It just grew, grew and grew and grew like Microsoft and actually had Microsoft as a layer on it. They began to offer brokerage services, and then HR as well. It wasn't a part of their original mandate.
There was a push to move to something bigger, faster, and more AI-driven.
ADP also owns the data. That's part of the cost to move away from it and that will cost you a minimum of $50,000, no matter what size company you are. That is to just retrieve your own data about your own people from them.

We were using Oracle PeopleSoft. We switched primarily because of the cost and our requirement to upgrade to the cloud. Basically, we were looking to migrate from the on-premises model. A cloud application is much faster than an on-premises application.
View full review »The group previously used different systems for different countries. We centralize a team of system support for the group. It is more cost efficient in terms of support and maintenance.
View full review »We are an Oracle shop and used the HCM module. The switch was our push to focus on HR as a product in a best-of-breed approach, as the implementation we had in our ERP was largely ignored and disliked.

We did have another solution previously. We switched because we required something that was available regionally in order for us to keep track of employee data.

It was local and basically all spread, so each country used their own local HR system. So we didn't replace HCM by HCM.
