I rate Xamarin's stability an eight out of ten.

Xamarin Platform has been stable lately.

I think the stability is slightly stronger when building iOS apps. When you build an iOS app, there's nothing that is really restrictive, so you should be able to achieve the same type of performance, look, feel, and quality of using Swift and all the native iOS stuff.

The Android apps run pretty well, too. I noticed a little bit of a performance hit on the Android side, but that's because there's some pretty complicated architecture stuff. Overall, I would say you can build very high quality apps with the solution.

It is stable, however, we expect more rappers so that we don't need to write a lot of code to get the native features. They should make available a lot of the frameworks so that it is easy to understand. We've also had to do some debugging.

Xamarin Platform is a stable solution. I have published six to seven applications on the Apple Store and they are stable.

The solution is reliable and stable with no bugs. 

We disabled auto updates because on occasion they were breaking our builds. 

Xamarin Platform was stable initially, but they recently launched MAUI, and there are bugs. This is because it is an initial release of their global release. However, they are working on the bugs and hoping to introduce fixes in .NET 7.0.

Version 5 is the most stable version. The latest version has some bugs in the test version.

While working with the Xamarin framework at Seamgen, we do not encounter any major stability issues in the framework itself. However, we do recommend testing any third-party component for fitness, because it is fairly easy to incur stability issues by importing external components or libraries.

I have had times when I ran into bugs which can take some time to sort out. I found out the hard way that these bugs can often take quite some time to resolve and that's obviously not ideal.

The new go-to-market with Microsoft is different. It will require some adapting.

As far as my experience with Xamarin, I’ve found no issues with the stability, if you have the right people working with you. It’s always easy to criticize a technology and it amazes me to see people out there criticizing some technology just because they couldn’t use it properly.

Over time it has created a revolutionary change in the technology and market. In our case, we were able to deliver projects on time and that’s what matters in the end. Maybe we have faced some issues but it would not be nice to say that Xamarin is not a stable technology. As a matter of fact, it is very stable, and they're working on making it more and more stable each day.

There have been some stability issues, mostly with VS 2017 for Windows when working with iOS.

Generally, when iOS products get updates, some issues can happen with Xamarin. Crashes happen from time to time.

Everything is fine. There have been difficulties with memory leaks, but usually they are not difficult to fix.

The stability of this solution is fine.

When I started with Xamarin, I used to face a lot of stability issues. Its memory management was very poor. But now, I don’t face any kind of issue related to stability.
