When I had meetings, I used to take notes or record them, but then someone still had to transcribe everything. Now, I'm fascinated by OtterPilot. It automatically transcribes meetings, summarizes them, and identifies action items. I've been recommending it to everyone I know. It is a tool that you can use during Zoom or Teams calls. It takes real-time notes and then sends a summary and action items to everyone via email. It's been really helpful for about three or four years now.

The most valuable feature for me is the integration with platforms. They're all moving towards providing transcripts, but I want a summary of the key points discussed and the action items, so everyone can quickly understand and follow up on them.

The tool integrates with Microsoft Outlook, but the integration with Teams is better than with Zoom. It's functional but could be tighter.

Zoom has better connectivity and the failure ratio is less compared to Webex and GoToWebinar. The base infrastructure is robust. The latency is very good. That is why the tool is pricey. The vendor provides hosting and poll features. Zoom is a complete product. It has a good security layer. Every platform has its own security layer to ensure that the data and broadcast are restricted and relayed to only the registered participants. Anyone can easily handle the solution. It is easy to learn.

There are a lot of features in the solution. Besides the fact that you can speak with anyone from across the world, you can also see each other. Also, I really appreciate being able to record whatever is being set on Zoom, especially when I can use it for the onboarding process. So, I have such case scenarios and examples. I think that's one of the main features I love about Zoom.

The most valuable feature is the sharing capabilities. Whether it's a simple screen for PowerPointr or sharing videos, it works really well. I have had good success with sharing videos.

The integration with Outlook has been good, which is a nice feature.

I like Zoom because of the quality of the image and the resolution. Of course, I know that depends on the hardware you're using. But, still, the image and sound quality are excellent. If you use the free version of Skype, sometimes the screen gets blurry, so you can't see everything well, then you have to check if the connection is okay, or maybe you need to restart the application. But with Zoom, I didn't have that kind of problem. Zoom is also more intuitive and accessible to new users.

I have found that the Zoom software has many features that I find very valuable. One of those features was the ability to share our screen with the people we were talking to and give presentations.

This made it possible for us to share documents and information with them easily. The ability to record our meetings was also excellent and valuable, allowing us to go back and review the information discussed earlier.

It's excellent software in general, with new updates and new features integrated that would make the software much more complete.

I like Zoom's breakout session feature. During a conference, you can have a breakout session and place people in different groups, which can later converge back into the same room. I also like the solution's webinar feature. The Zoom webinar allows you to create the different settings you want. You could join in between with your microphone automatically off. It has a feature where you raise your hand to ask a question or make comments.

The pricing is good if you have multi-stations or multi-users accessing it. It's got a free tier and is easy to use.

The one thing I like about Zoom is that you don't need to do anything by phone. All you need is a laptop or mobile device and a connection to the internet. Now you just use the computers and can use the audio, speaker, and microphone that are already there. You don't need a separate phone like as to do for Webex.

As a technical support guy, I think it's crucial to be able to connect with people remotely. Zoom is simple to use because they can share the screen and talk. The user can walk me through the issue they are facing. You don't need to be in the office or on the network. If a user can connect to the internet, then they can share their screen. Aside from support, it's also a great way to provide training to our users.

I love the high-definition video and audio. These help ensure that meetings are as close to in-person as possible.

Screen sharing and recording capabilities are invaluable for presentations and archiving discussions. The chat function allows for instant messaging, enhancing real-time collaboration.

Zoom's breakout rooms facilitate seamless group work, making it a versatile tool for businesses and educators.

Its integration with a wide range of apps simplifies workflows, while virtual backgrounds add a touch of creativity and professionalism to meetings. Zoom consistently updates and refines its features, ensuring users benefit fully from the investment.

The new AI tools look interesting; however, I haven't yet fully explored them.

I wanted to set up a virtual office and work-from-home scenarios, and this is where I found Zoom to be good. It helps me and the company do remote work by setting up a virtual office, with all of us present for the entire working hours.

I'm not sure if GoTo Meeting, Cisco Webex, and other solutions have the virtual office setup option. They could be good for webinars, but I'm not sure how good they are in really setting up a virtual office, or if that option's even available.

The most valuable features of Zoom are voice and camera clarity. The time latency of the response is good. The facility to view all the participants who are online is a benefit. In most of the other similar solutions, they too have this feature. However, since I have used Zoom, I find it as an advantage because you can see all the participants online and you can choose.

When using Zoom for a training program, seeing the participants online and then the latency is very good, it is more in real-time. Additionally, the security features are good.

Zoom has facilitated our remote and hybrid meetings, particularly in the context of our agile processes such as scrum. In the past, estimating story points required physical presence in a room, where we would use visual cues or hand gestures. We can create polls with Zoom and share them with team members for direct input. The recording feature is also good. Additionally, features like whiteboarding allow for specific collaboration sessions tailored to different team members' needs. Auto-scheduling meetings and integration with Microsoft Outlook make organizing and attending meetings effortless. Overall, the product is good and convenient.

The screen sharing and whiteboarding features are particularly valuable. We utilize whiteboarding when someone needs to explain something remotely. It allows for the quick creation of visual aids and animated views. Additionally, the seamless recording feature is highly beneficial.

The tool's security features are good. There is no overlapping of any other calls with this call. Many security features are enabled, like for the call you are hosting. If it coincides with some other meeting, Zoom allows us to prevent other persons from joining this meeting and then deal with it. So there are specific options for that, which is quite helpful. Sometimes, we run over time, and we may not have the time to onboard new participants. The tool automatically pushes them into a separate meeting group. They understand that we are busy on a separate call and are not disturbed by the current meeting.

Whiteboard is a good feature for having a meeting in which everyone can join to type or draw, and write. If we have a brainstorming-type meeting, we can share our own ideas with the whiteboard.

Breakout room helps us to set the group discussion during the training. Before this platform, we have to design the multi-network to achieve this situation.

Icon status chat helps if the participants have any questions or any comments the facilitator can see through the features. These features are important because the facilitator cannot see their face directly so we cannot see their expression and never know whether they understand what the facilitator says.

Most collaboration tools share common features. Recently, Zoom has increased the number of concurrent users for collaborative purposes. Previously, the limit was 50, but now it's 10,000. You can host multiple thousand people with a licensed or free version. This is beneficial because both teams and individuals can use the service. Zoom has aimed to cater to both corporate sectors, where licences are prevalent, and individuals who may be using the free version, such as students, faculty, or small to medium enterprises.

The video quality and stability of Zoom are good, but they depend on the communication network and backbone infrastructure. Sometimes, when we use Zoom and don't have a good backbone facility, there can be issues. Zoom provides different background screen functionalities for privacy protection. These are standard functions worldwide. You can opt for new backgrounds, customise settings, and establish privacy preferences. In terms of collaboration and reviewing, Zoom offers standard features similar to other collaboration tools.

The most valuable aspect of the solution is the controls that you have for security. They have been enhanced a lot in the recent versions. When you are the owner of the meeting, you basically have control over everything. It is really important when you are in a situation in which someone tries to enter your meeting and he doesn't belong or doesn't identify him or herself. You can just easily remove them.

Understanding the different options you have is easy. The identified users have to be allowed in with authentication. You will have people that are from the organization or from some other organization and you can ask for authentification or you can have a meeting in which anyone can join. Even so, at the moment you have the option of doing something that will give you control over the meeting. For me, that's one of the most useful things.

It's very simple to manage.

The solution is stable.

The scalability is good.

The solution is easy to set up.

The screen sharing feature is valuable. It is easy to set up a meeting if you are on a call with a non Teams user if you need to do screen sharing. COVID-19 is showing us a new way to communicate, that everything doesn't have to be face to face meetings. And so the more you can really understand the capability of the software, the better you are.

In Zoom, I don't have a preference for any of the features. If you know the application well, then you can use all the features. I'm using most of the features, including file sharing and sharing screens.

The possibility for chat is very handy sometimes. The chat is very useful due to the fact that sometimes you have to run formulas and those kinds of things and to pronounce it is not enough. You have to write it down so that the person or people can see exactly what the formula is.

The whiteboard capabilities are great.

The tool has made remote work possible for us. It's not just about the technology but also about staying connected with colleagues. When everyone works from home, using Zoom for meetings becomes very common. One great thing about the product is its ability to cancel out background noise. This helps a lot, especially when construction or other noise surrounds your home.

The Zoom recording feature is really useful. Sometimes, when you need to interview sensitive users, they might not feel comfortable if you record a video. We might have used a phone or another recorder in the past. However, it records only the audio of the meeting, not the video or screen sharing. This makes customers feel safer because they know only the audio is being recorded, which can be more effective for sensitive interviews.

I can share documents directly in the chat during meetings, which is helpful, especially when collaborating with my project team. Before, I had to download the chat manually, but now I can see all the chat directly in the Zoom application. Plus, I can automatically save the meeting chat to my computer.

Compared to Teams, Zoom's performance and user interface are better. This is especially the case when you're doing any kind of online presentation, PowerPoint, or team demo. One of the most valuable advantages of Zoom is that it is a bit easier to install than Microsoft Teams or WebEx by Cisco, for example. Another advantage of Zoom is that it is easier to link a person that is not a Zoom user than it is with WebEx.

Overall, Zoom is a very mature platform. The only issues and glitches we have every had with it were related to Wi-Fi quality. For example, we can run into problems when a colleague is working on a low-quality Wi-Fi connection. Also, we try to use headsets in our meetings and this can create a problem, but that again is not an issue with the platform itself.
