We use Informatica PowerCenter + PowerExchange Adapter for SAP NetWeaver. It's powerful for integrating SAP ERP or BW. You can reference this URL to get more information. https://kb.informatica.com/_layouts/ProductDocumentation/Page/ProductDocumentSearch.aspx

Remember, both Informatica and SAP, are HUGE suites of software.
It would seem that if you wanted to integrate them, you would look more at the modules.
One module from Informatica, might put out information useable by SAP for ERP and production.
For instance, Informatica data as far as device attribute market popularity, might indicate you are
employing too expensive and long-lived a product, need to add a popular attribute, and SAP might
point at where you can slim the product down, or buy / build the needed 'feature'.

SAP in it's core elements, is basically ERP. Enterprise Requirements planning.
That means it tries to provision the enterprise, on time, with what it needs to do business.
Informatica seems to be more for Data Mining, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence.
(This is just my experience, your mileage may vary)
So, how much of your business is driven by outside data?
The interaction depends on the type of business you have, and where/what your market is.
Informatica information, would seem to identify what your enterprise SHOULD build,
while SAP ERP seems to identify how efficiently you can build what is your product.
Connecting the two, isn't easy.

For example, we can sync. order, accounts, price book and etc. from ERP to CRM. We also can replicate quotation from CRM to ERP by using their solution.
