I highly recommend Microsoft Azure. We have been using it for nearly four years. We mostly use it for creating and maintaining websites, such as content management systems like WordPress sites, which we build using App Service.
It's a ready-to-use, out-of-the-box solution. It just takes a few clicks to get up and running. Developers do not need to learn and spend their time configuring the platform since it is a “Platform as a Service.” We don't have to worry about handling the infrastructure behind our websites, which makes them easier to maintain. In addition,we have peace of mind, knowing that our websites will always be running securely. App Service also provides automatic upgrades and has excellent backup and restore abilities, which is crucial for website hosting.
The solution has a lot of tools to make it easier to work on your websites. For instance, it has a feature that can quickly switch code from the production version to your dev environments and back. There is also a feature called Application Insights, which we find very helpful for debugging purposes.
It is a very stable product. It has great scaling options. We have approximately 20,000 people who are using the application. Technical support is fantastic and responsive. We call Microsoft every couple of weeks and they have been very helpful in giving us insights.

No server maintenance: App Service takes care of deployment and making sure that the servers are running as they should, freeing up your time to focus on other tasks.
Virtual machine support: App Service runs perfectly on virtual machines as well as on physical machines.
Multiple integration options: App Service can easily be integrated with multiple software solutions. This will allow you to access many types of external platforms for monitoring or debugging purposes.
One small issue I should mention is that the solution needs better integration capabilities on the network side. I feel there should be more options - for example, to update the DNS server straight to the app service.
