I give the solution a six out of ten. This product will likely go down in the future because the company needs to invest more money and time into development to improve the solution. FICO needs to think about how users can customize their strategies by themselves. I don't see this functionality in future releases, and I understand that in a year or two this market will go down. FICO Blaze, unfortunately, doesn't develop rapidly, which means that the latest versions are not that different from previous ones. The solution is an old product, a very stable product, but with some defects. 90 percent of the biggest banks in Europe use FICO Blaze. This means that the solution is really stable, and our clients prefer to use old technology but stable technology, which is why they're asking me to provide solutions by using FICO Blaze, Pega, IBM ODM products, and SAS products. The main product which we use is FICO Blaze in this way.

I like this tool. It's a nice tool. I can say it would be better if the solution for banks and these kinds of institutions, supported Python, because it's a modern language and there are more possibilities to implement things that can help with modeling. Then you could have solutions or prepare a model for/in FICO's Blaze Advisor and you could easily implement it within this solution. I think Blaze Advisor is a bit obsolete now. On a scale of one to ten, I would give FICO Blaze Advisor a nine.

For anyone entering into IT as a tester, a programmer or as a business analyst, Blaze Advisor is very useful because it provides a good understanding of the overall processes in IT. From there, it's possible to develop your skills in any direction you choose. I rate this product nine out of 10.

It will reduce turnaround time for implementing business policies, minimizing the time it takes to do so by enabling them to be directly deployed to production. It also provides deployment without restarting the server. When new rules are created by the business, rules they want to deploy on the production server, it can be done without downtime for that server. Also, a single template can accommodate multiple rules. Based on those features, I recommend Blaze Advisor to customers. The solution itself is only used by the development team and the rules management engine is used by the business teams.
