The solution is primarily on-premises. Usage in our organization is vast. We have so many customers using the solution. The solution is good and we always recommend. It is perfect. I rate McAfee Endpoint Security as a nine out of ten.

I would advise others that are wanting to implement McAfee Endpoint Security to initially use help from the professional service team at McAfee, it will help a lot by making sure they do all the scalability and enviroment requirements. Additionally, they can ask questions based on their expectation and receive suggestions and answers. As an alternative, if you have an experienced person who is well-versed with implementations then I would use them, if not, I would always recommend using the professional service team at McAfee. I rate McAfee Endpoint Security a seven out of ten.

I would advise others to get the most comprehensive protection that they can. For me, it meant McAfee, but there are other good solutions around. I would rate McAfee Endpoint Security an eight out of 10.

The solution does a fine job of integration. It is deployed in the cloud. My organization is very big. Like I said, we're systems integrators. As we are a distribution company, I am in a position to speak from a technical point of view. I've actually seen environments that reach 16,000. I did the deployment for a bank in Ghana, which is under the management of the Pan-African Bank and is responsible for management throughout all of Africa, save for Nigeria. This involved around 15,000 nodes. There is another bank in Nigeria with between 4,000 to 6,000 nodes and still others with around 12,000. I would definitely recommend this solution to other users. Leaving aside the fact that I sell this solution, when it comes to endpoint security solutions the world over, McAfee is one of the best, if not the best.

The solution is in-house, on-premises. There are 300 people making use of the solution in our organization. When it comes to the question of whether I would recommend this solution to others, we can see that McAfee greatly lags behind CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Cortex, Cynet and Sophos, which are the top performing security solutions on the market. I would rate McAfee Endpoint Security as a five or six out of ten.

The solution is deployed on-premises since it mostly involves a bank. Unfortunately, most clients have chosen to remove McAfee and have switched to Silence because of its ease of use. They are not interested in updates. I feel McAfee Endpoint Security is a good, mature product, although the price of the technology poses an issue. In Pakistan and Asia, there is a different kind of field environment than in Europe and the United States. While we cannot offer our clients managed services, which is what everyone wants, in Europe and the United States they can. I rate McAfee Endpoint Security as a six out of ten.

Since we are a public utility company there are some laws here when it comes to purchasing, we have procurement procedures. We have to do tendering and then companies apply. I am very happy with the solution. If I could extend the license, for example, for three more years, I will do it immediately. We are in the process now. I would recommend this solution to others. I rate McAfee Endpoint Security ten out of ten.

We're just a customer and an end-user. We're doing the latest version of the solution. I do not have the version number on-hand. 50% of companies are facing ransomware issues right now. We have also faced that in the past. That's why we have looked into Apex One. We have installed that. All systems are under Apex One. Everything is updated, however, it's not protected as it's not continuously communicating with the data centers. They are not updating the algorithm as they should. They need to make improvements to that part. Overall, I would rate the solution eight out of ten. I'd recommend the solution for companies just working with a few documents, however, if you are an enterprise, you might find that the solution slows down your system and it could affect your work in general.

I would definitely recommend this solution to others. McAfee is a good product. I worked with Symantec, but personally, I think McAfee is better. However, in my opinion, now having worked with CylancePROTECT and OPTICS, I think CylancePROTECT and OPTICS are on another level. Still, we have been working with McAfee for nearly 10 years and I feel it's a very good product. Overall, on a scale from one to ten, I would give McAfee a rating of eight.

I recommend that the client needs to be aware of what McAfee can do for them. If the engineer can implement the solution, he'll just follow the book, and he's not going to get the best experience from the product. To not impact the computer or the endpoint's performance, you need to finetune the policies. If the engineer doesn't have that kind of experience, you won't get the best out of the product. The client needs to get an engineer with a lot of performance tuning experience to get the most out of the product. On a scale from one to ten, I would give McAfee Endpoint Security a nine.

In general, it is a really great product and I recommend it. I don't have any objections and most of the users only use perhaps 25% of the features that are available. I cannot remember a time that I needed a feature and it wasn't available in the console. I would rate this solution a ten out of ten.

You would be very happy with McAfee if you have the know-how of this solution and you have somebody who is an expert at this solution. McAfee is not too easy to understand, but when you understand the solution, you could be very happy with it. I would rate McAfee Endpoint Security a nine out of ten.

In summary, this is a good product and they have most aspects covered. That said, it needs better integration with third-party products. Even the integration with other McAfee products can be improved further. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

There are good web, application, and firewall control features. It would be helpful if the controlling of connections coming to the PC could be done from McAfee's side so that we can block those connections. It's a good product. I would recommend it. I would rate it a nine out of ten. It's easy to use and it's very powerful. It offers nice endpoint protection.

I would not recommend this solution because a lot of new-age solutions are available in the market. These solutions are better than McAfee Endpoint Security and can do a better job. I would rate McAfee Endpoint Security a seven out of ten.

I recommend McAfee VirusScan to everyone in an enterprise environment. Part of the reason is that nowadays everyone is working from home. Their systems and devices have to be secure when they are connecting externally to the internal network with whatever device they are using. They should have at least one security solution in their system so that they can avoid vulnerabilities that they may encounter outside of the secure internal network. VirusScan ensures that is happening. On a scale from one to ten where one is the worst and ten is the best, I would rate McAfee VirusScan Enterprise as a nine-out-of-ten. It is a very good solution and gives good blanket protection.

I would advise, if somebody's looking at buying a brand new solution fresh or have a solution coming up for renewal, to look at the next generation antivirus products. The next-generation products are far more sophisticated. They might be a little higher in price, but in terms of manageability, updates, and the packet size, they are far superior. McAfee has released something called Envision. It's a next-generation antivirus. In this other solution, they have incorporated a lot of next-generation technologies. It's a different license and a higher-priced license altogether. Overall, I would rate this solution seven out of ten.

For performance, they have introduced a new feature. McAfee decides what they want to scan and it reduces the performance of the system. So generally what happens is when McAfee scans a file, it stores the files in the cache. Next time, if there are any changes in the file, then only it will scan the file. Otherwise, it will not scan it. That's how they have increased in the performance inside. I would rate this product eight out of 10. In new units, the initial agenda, they are changing a lot of things and there are lots of bugs we normally we didn't use to see. Again, we had to rely on some updates, and the way that it appears, the mechanism, they have changed it. So lots of things involved like bugs and issues related to the different parts of the product are challenging. Otherwise, it's good.

I've been using the Complete Endpoint Protection for maybe a year and a half, but the other half of the McAfee Suite, the McAfee Virus Enterprise, I've used since 2012 and then it migrated to McAfee Endpoint. From a customer point of view what they need to look out for is just mainly some of the products that they use to make sure the exclusions are correct. The processes that they need to exclude, as well, are done correctly. It is mainly on the exclusions to ensure they don't have any impact. I would rate this solution eight out of 10.

Everything has been simplified. On the endpoint side, there is also a lot of improvement. When Intel acquired McAfee they worked on the protocol so that all vendors can work on the same platform. It's a very big improvement in McAfee. All McAfee products talk to each other. Other vendor's products can join this platform as well so it makes it more powerful on the enterprise side for McAfee. With a knowledgeable technician that has a lot of experience with the product, you won't have problems. If you work with a less experienced person, implementing the solution can become a problem. I would rate this solution a nine out of 10.

There are many other endpoint security solutions that are available today, but McAfee Suite has several distinct advantages when you make a procurement decision. For example: * All of the information, data, malware signature profiles, intelligence gathering, alerts, warnings and so on can be accessed and viewed very easily from just one console * You do not have to overspend on security technology, because all of the features described earlier comes as one unified, cohesive set. McAfee Suite also leverages all of the existing security features of the operating systems and virtualized environments also previously mentioned. So in the end, there is really nothing more that you need to add on * McAfee Suite can work as a single security solution for all kinds and types of device hardware and software such as workstations, servers, wireless/mobile devices, containers, virtual instances, and even those objects found in the Internet of Things (IoT) * McAfee Suite has been comprehensively tested by certified third parties and has proven itself in the real world

We recommend McAfee Complete Endpoint Protection. We watch threat reports for McAfee and search Gartner's Reports to see whether they are doing well or not. On a scale from one to ten, I would rate the platform an eight. We were expecting more. They need to enhance the dashboard and scanning features.

I would recommend McAfee Complete Endpoint Protection. It's an all in one endpoint. You can scale it. You can buy McAfee web control. You can buy other products. You can increase as many products as you like as you go on. Most organizations don't have it and it makes controlling easier. On a scale of one to ten, I would rate McAfee Complete Endpoint Protection a solid seven because a ten is perfect. I believe there are opportunities for improvement.

I would like to recommend the solution. It's better, and pricing wise, it's worth it. It's really worth it as compared to other advanced malware security solutions in the market. They are costly, like anything. And the technical support good, even though the solution is new. The solution is not yet mature. Pricing is fairly affordable for all enterprises, big or small. I would rate this solution an 8.5 out of 10. Because sometimes it makes machines really slow. There are a lot of features. I enabled all the layers but it sometimes makes systems slow. The solution keeps on adding engines and engines. If they can add everything in one engine instead of having multiple engines, then I would really say the system would work faster. I'd say it's not that bad, but it's not that good. The speed is still better than other versions in the past that came out.

I think McAfee is the best solution. Anyone can use it, the protection is good, and they have all of the features. There is user protection at a nice speed. There have been some improvements in the latest version. For example, when you log in to the older version it is very slow sometimes. With the newest version, it is like they removed some things. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.

I would rate this solution a seven over ten. It's not a ten because of the time it takes to detect an issue, technical support and because I have no control with the partner. I know that the office that manages the contract has had some problems because of the reports.

For me, the most important criteria in choosing a solution is the performance. I must seriously consider whether the solution is able to adapt to the environment.
