Currently, the firmware is not working on the hardware. I do simple projects. Integrating the solution with other enterprise systems has moderately improved our operational efficiency. I will recommend the product to others. It is quite good. I like the tool. Overall, I rate the solution a five out of ten.

The product’s feature that significantly improved employee productivity is the seamless access to documents from anywhere. The platform’s unified endpoint management capability significantly aids in simplifying IT operations. It enables centralized management of application updates. Moreover, the security features, especially the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) functionality, have significantly impacted our data protection strategy. We have integrated the application with Office 365 for compliance purposes. It helps us manage conditional access to the services. It has improved the security status. I recommend VMware Workspace ONE to others and rate it an eight out of ten.

Overall, I would rate the solution a nine out of ten. I would advise others to evaluate their use case and definitely move towards endpoint management overall to improve user productivity. Organizations with a hybrid culture and employee-friendly policies allowing home workspace should consider it as it enhances user experience and productivity.

VMware Workspace ONE is deployed on the cloud, but the on-premises version is also available based on the customer's industry requirements. Users who want to manage their devices should look at the solution based on their future prospects, not the current scenario. Overall, I rate VMware Workspace ONE an eight out of ten.

I would advise just being clear about your use case and what issue you want to solve in your business. Try the drive test of Workspace ONE in VMware. It can give you some insights about this solution. Overall, I would rate the solution a nine out of ten.

VMware products, in my opinion, is an exceptional product, and it allows for the management of a complete device fleet from a single console. It can manage Windows, Mac, Android, or iOS devices, and policy configurations are straightforward to deploy. I would recommend this solution to others since I have already recommended it to most of my customers. Overall, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.

I give the solution a nine out of ten. I suggest if a person wants to start using Workspace ONE, they should make use of the cloud instance instead of the on-premise instance. There is an on-premise instance available, but the cloud instance is a better option now. I advise them to make use of the cloud instance. This is because management-wise, there is no need to manage a server. For example, we don't need to buy a server, and we don't need to buy network switches, which are required for the on-premise. At the same time, I can advise setting up all the functionalities or whatever functionalities are available for the trial version. We need to check if the Workspace ONE integration includes Azure AD or other identity providers. A lot of applications are using these providers for authentication, such as Ping, Okta, and others. If the Workspace ONE integration doesn't include these providers, the company might have to find a different solution. Security projects should also be considered. Specifically, if the solution can integrate with local security solutions to secure mobile devices.

It is based on the requirements. If he has Intune and has the Microsoft license already in place, it is based on those requirements, and based on the circumstances. But ultimately it is a good choice, I would not say it is a bad choice. I would rate VMware Workspace ONE an eight on a scale of one to ten.

I suggest to others if they have multiple device platforms, especially in Apple and the VR device area. VMware Workspace ONE is the best tool where they can receive not only the VR and Mac support but in order to manage the Microsoft Windows devices as well, they will have good functionality. I rate VMware Workspace ONE an eight out of ten.

AirWatch evolved into VMware Workspace ONE, so it's the same product. AirWatch was more of a competitor of mobile device management and security, so they weren't as good in patching and fixing. There's another type of solution now that we call unified endpoint management (UEM), and that's a whole new category. I actually have quadrants in that. I know that AirWatch, even when they were acquired by VMware, e.g. it's now VMware Workspace ONE, was still highly rated. HCL is still highly rated. Microsoft was also good. Ironically, another company that was very good for mobile device management and one of the security companies out there is BlackBerry. They're still alive. I've worked on most of the UEM solutions, including VMware Workspace ONE. For Blackberry, we haven't touched that lately. We have touched BigFix. I do have customers that are still running BlackBerry Spark®. I know even Google is trying to get in the game. Ivanti is also another UEM solution we've been dealing with. There are a number of different ones, e.g. even IBM has moved their MaaS360® platform to try to do unified endpoint management now. The advice I'd like to give to others looking into implementing VMware Workspace ONE, is for them not to have any qualms about implementing it. Things are quick to set up, even if our team does some very hardcore security things, e.g. identity and access management, all kinds of threat landscape stuff, attack surface monitoring and modeling, etc. VMware Workspace ONE is one of the easier technologies that can be implemented for what we do, so I'm recommending it to others. In terms of rating VMware Workspace ONE, there are a lot of "mini-categories", so they don't do some of the things I was talking about, or they're just newer into it. If I look at unified endpoint management, e.g. mobile, desktop, and everything combined, I would probably put BigFix high up there. For mobile, I would put VMware Workspace ONE high up there along with some others. Some of the SaaS ones, e.g. Tanium, do a good job, too. BlackBerry actually does a really good job with unified endpoint management, too. They just don't have billions of their devices out there, but in terms of managing their own devices, they were really the best in the early days, with a very secure platform. HCL for UEM could be rated the best. For mobile, VMware Workspace ONE would rate the best, because they were really focused on that from the very beginning. They led the way, even if in that space you'll see 500 competitors, with people jumping up and jumping down, and constantly moving. VMware Workspace ONE in the mobile space has been very sustained in terms of how they've been rated and how they've grown over time. They owned the market with four or five of these solutions, and they were able to maintain the lead. I could rate VMware Workspace ONE eight out of ten, but it would still depend on the use cases. BigFix is better for unified endpoint management, the ability to patch all assets, etc. VMware, on the other hand, is more focused on mobile. VMware being an infrastructure company and everybody inexpensively spinning up VMs all over the place: they've tried to pull that side a little more toward the infrastructure side, desktops, and PCs, and even on the networks, but both of them have grown tremendously. In the last two or three years, for obvious reasons, with all the resiliency planning we do now for mobile workforces, it's really important for them to develop new capabilities, which I think they have, but this has been really good for their development. They've seen everything at this point.

Workspace ONE is one component of the solution. It is not the solution in itself. Workspace ONE is the front door and the locking mechanisms of all the doors, but you only need that if you're going to build a house. I would rate it an eight out of 10.

Right now we don't see there's an MDM solution out there that's better than VMware Workspace ONE. It makes sense that companies are leaning more and more towards the Microsoft Cloud and Office 365, and they do offer Intune as well. That makes sense in that context, but if you look at the benefits of the MDM solutions versus each other, from what we've done in our research and analysis, VMware is still the best tool on the market. We have a couple of issues that we have seen every now and then, but it's always the same issues and it's not something that's related to VMware. It's typically from our own underlying infrastructure components that are not really reliable. I rate VMware Workspace ONE a nine out of ten.

With the many solutions available such as IBM MaaS360 and Microsoft Intune, you have to consider the business requirements, the software you will be using, and the strength of the security it provides. This solution is very secure, and I would definitely recommend it to others. I would rate VMware Workspace ONE a nine out of ten because the support is lacking.

We are having some issues with VPN providers. They don't work with the settings that we need. I'm using the latest version of the solution. I'm not a client. I'm an architect of Workspace ONE. I implement the solution for clients, so I don't use it directly per se. I implement all deployment models, both cloud and on-premises. I'd recommend the solution to other companies. Overall, I've been pretty satisfied with the solution. I would rate it at a seven out of ten. It has all of the features I need. We just need to be better informed when there are new features or changes.

If you have Mac or SNIS devices, it works fine and the price will be reasonable. If you have a lot of money to invest, there are better options out there. Overall, on a scale from one to ten, I would give VMware Workspace ONE a rating of eight. There should be more powerful features available for Mac, like what GEMS has already introduced — especially in regards to the level of system updates, and software updates. It should be easier to manage things, especially for Mac. If they improved this, I would give them a higher rating.

Workspace One is a product that I strongly recommend. They are the leader in the category and it's a wonderful product. My advice for anybody who is implementing it is to focus on what they need to achieve in the organization and build a strategy for that. This is what the relationship with the product should be based on. My approach was to integrate my existing solution with the new one that was under procurement, and it was a good fit that met my requirements. I would suggest this strategy for any new product that is being on-boarded. For somebody using the cloud version, with reduced maintenance, I think that this would be a ten out of ten product. In my case, however, as my team is not the expert in maintaining this product and are in learning phase, I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.

We are the first master service in India. We are a service partner, and we are deploying this solution for our customers. A few deployments are on-premises, and a few are on the cloud. Cloud deployment is simple, but from the security point of view, few banks want to deploy it on-premises. I absolutely recommend VMware Workspace ONE. It's a very good product. They should keep improving the pricing and innovation of the product. Otherwise, the customer will not be convinced about the cost. That's the only problem. India is very cost-sensitive. Everyone wants everything free in India, which is a big problem. I would rate VMware Workspace ONE a ten out of ten.

This is a reliable solution, not like other vendors which may be good in some areas but lack in other areas. When compared to other products, AirWatch is highly scalable, redundant, reliable, and easily manageable. People who want to adopt this solution may be thinking about it from the end-user's perspective, but this solution is also very friendly for the people who manage it. It's administration-friendly.

It's important to understand your requirements: What is important, what is your environment, and what are you looking for? If you are a government company, that means you are looking at a lot of data protection, security is the highest priority. If your back office is Microsoft and you are looking at an integration with your Microsoft products, that would be a different thing. If you are a salesperson, with Salesforce and you're application oriented... it all depends. Each organization has different needs. It depends on your priorities, what you need in terms of making sure your productivity, your top line and the bottom line, grow. It's nothing like one size fits all. When selecting a vendor, there are multiple things to consider, there is not just one. But one of the things I would really look at this moment, because so many vendors already give that, is the ability to do discovery/self-services analytics: How the solution is going to help. It should give some kind of a blueprint in terms of what's happening in an enterprise, so that you can take an informed decision. I would make analytics a key decision point. I rate AirWatch at about nine out of 10. I would not give them 10 because there is always room for improvement. I have had no issues and it has been really awesome for me. I have been using it for five years, and I have seen how they have moved up on the ladder, how they've integrated, how they have gone forward moving into the enterprise, and the rate of change, of transformations. It's really excellent.
