There are many IdM/IAM vendors and they all can be found on a short googling. Most are doing more of the same depends on the maturity and complexity of the product.
The most troublesome issue I do find with IdM is the integration part. While most of the large vendors provide professional services for the implementation, not always they come with understanding of how large enterprises work and try to enforce their processes out of the box on the organization.
Back to the topic, we are happily using the Sun IdM for about 8 years and now switching to IBM after assessing couple of the large vendors. I can say that Oracle was also a favorite but was very expensive for us.

There are many vendors in IAM space and pros and cons with every solution. The trick is to find the vendor that best meets your requirements and provides you with flexibility for the future.
Enterprise vendors like Dell (Quest), Microsoft and Oracle have very complete and complex solutions. These products can be expensive and take a significant period of time to implement. You may end up paying for more than you will ever need.

Mid market vendors such as NetIQ, Sailpoint and Tools4ever have more pointed solutions that will most likely address your short and long term requirements at a lower total cost of ownership and a shorter time to implement.

Other vendors like Manage Engine and Empower ID have simple, "out of the Box" solutions that are inexpensive but may not offer the flexibility to handle all of your requirements.

There certainly are no "one size fits all" solutions. A detailed requirements document and phased project plan are necessary pre-requisites when evaluating vendors . These items with a proof of concept in your environment will insure project success fulfill the organization's goals.
