What I like the most about Asana is its API integrations because we use a lot of cluttered toolsets in our company since we need to cater to different clients, for which its integration gives us a lot of flexibility.

It’s a great way to communicate plans and progress across the business and is flexible about how much detail I include and how I present it.

Asana, despite its compact size, proves to be incredibly valuable. When initiating a project, it offers the ability to generate a personalized form for clients. In this particular context, my clients include the customer success team and solution architects. This feature allows me to provide them with a convenient means to submit their requests, resembling a ticketing system geared towards internal operations. Moreover, it enables efficient allocation within my team. For instance, if a question pertains to customer success, I can assign it to the CSOps manager and the team. Similarly, if it relates to a specific channel, it can be allocated accordingly.

Asana has significantly reduced the number of emails we exchange because we can access the project directly. It organizes all the tasks related to each project, assigns them to staff with due dates, and tracks progress.

Asana's most valuable aspect is its ability to consolidate all tasks and projects onto a single board, allowing for seamless navigation through timelines from start to finish. Additionally, it enables the inclusion of key stakeholders and provides a private communication channel for discreet discussions. The organizational component of Asana is particularly beneficial, including its coding features.

This solution is easier and faster to use compared to Jira. It's not very structured and you can add sub-tasks and issues easily.

Asana allows you to create your own project with sub sections with subtasks that can be assigned. The feature I really love is that you can tag people to notify them that there has been progress on a project as well as add attachments.

I really enjoy the portfolios in Asana. One of the ways Asana stands out to me is with portfolios. You can have all your different projects, and you can have those assigned to different teams. If you want to customize a grouping of projects, you can use portfolios. For instance, one of the things that we do is we can assign a portfolio to a specific strategic objective we have, and we can put all those projects that are related to that strategic objective in that portfolio. We then know exactly what people are working on to help us achieve our goals. So, I really like portfolios.

Asana provides a lot of options and a lot of customization to give the best efficient way for your business to operate. For example, I can customize my tasks, tables, and pipelines the way I want them to fit my business model. It's easy and highly customizable.

It is pretty comprehensive when it comes to the different views that it gives you. It gives you a Gantt chart view, calendar view, board view, and list view. It is kind of helpful to have different types of views and see how it views your different tasks. I appreciate being able to do that.

The biggest thing is that it is extremely user friendly. Asana is pretty intuitive. Someone who is not tech-savvy can kind of catch on quickly. It is better than other tools like Smartsheet. Some of the other tools like Microsoft Project and Excel are great tools, but you have to invest a lot of time to learn them, which is not the case with Asana.

I love the way it monitors all of the current and past projects, and it sends notifications to keep everything on the track.

Asana is web-based software-as-a-service that helps teams coordinate and manage their work. It helps companies move faster by making sure everyone knows the team’s plan and process and who is doing what by when. Each user can create projects using a list, board, calendar, or timeline view. Within each project, users can add tasks, subtasks, sections, comments, attachments, start and due dates, and custom fields. Project and task followers get notifications on changes or comments on...
