Hi Everyone,
What do you like most about Nutanix Acropolis AOS?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with the community!
The most valuable feature is the integration of all parts in Prism Element, the browser-based management tool.
It supports multi-cloud integration that includes AWS, Google, and Azure.
In terms of scalability, adding a number of nodes, I find that it will not be any issues.
The virtualization environment is now much easier to manage and maintain, there is only one vendor to call in case of issues and one single console to manage everything.
The most valuable features are simple management and one-click upgrades.
It's easy to use and has a very smooth onboarding process.
In general, being able to patch and not having to pay for SanDisk is the best thing about hyper-converged.
It has a single pane of glass and you don't have to jump around various toolsets.
What I like the most are the high-availability and scalability.
The most valuable feature is the one-click to update the firmware and software.
It is 100% stable. It's the most stable infrastructure that we have.
In the world of IT operations, there is a lot of noise. Traditionally, systems would generate a great deal of alerts, events, and notifications, often leading to the operator either a) not seeing critical alerts since they are lost in the noise or b) disregarding the alerts/events.
I definitely find the reduced power consumption very valuable. Another aspect I really like, when one compares Citrix to VMware, is the interface where you talk directly to your VM from the present software.
One-Click Upgrade and Foundation is the most valuable feature. One-Click Upgrade makes upgrades and LCM a breeze. Prior to Nutanix One-Click Upgrade, upgrades and LCM were overly cumbersome and time-consuming. Foundation provides an easy, yet very structured, approach to cluster modification (adding or removing nodes).
One of the most valuable features that can be found, is the inclusion of a hypervisor for free.
The ease of deployment is very good.
Nutanix does a superb job with technical support.
One of the most valuable features is that it can be applied at any scale.
Everything is core centralized on the UI.
We like that the size of the box is 1U or 2U only, and all the servers are fit into that box. The ease of operation is there. All the servers and the SAN storage are inside the box.
Karbon is a must-have as it drastically simplifies the deployment of Kubernetes.
We are suggesting Nutanix to the management because of scalability and time efficiency.
The cloud features in-site offering, which I found to be very interesting.
I definitely find the reduced power consumption very valuable.
The fact that there is only one interface to deploy a complete solution for maximum storage is fantastic.
The most valuable features are its ease of use and its good performance.
The most valuable feature would be the ease of deployment. That is the most significant feature for me because I've worked with multiple vendors and it's always been very complicated to install the software and get everything running.
Best features are around data locality, compression, and deduplication.
It consolidates our servers, and improves our electricity consumption and cooling as well.
It is a good solution and it is easy to work on their platform.
Nutanix has several unique capabilities to ensure linear scalability.
The purpose is academic - we want to install GPU cards to test Automation with access to vGPU.
