I am not aware of the pricing. There are two departments, and I don't have any information about them.

The cost is very comparable to other solutions that I've used. I would in no way see any weaknesses in Duo over the other products, I would say it's a premium product, and it commands a premium price.

When it comes to pricing, the only thing I can say is that working in education, when you buy a product, it has to have value. My assumption is that Duo Security has a great deal of value for its cost.

I haven't seen it in a while, but it's at par with everything else licensing-wise.

I believe the licensing model is excellent as it offers flexibility to our customers, allowing them to adopt a crawl, walk, or run approach. We don't have to sell the highest licensing feature set right from the beginning because they may not require it. Therefore, starting with the MFA license can be sufficient for them, as it helps onboard them and allows them to become comfortable with the solution. As they develop their strategy, we can gradually introduce them to different layers of Duo Security. This approach has been a successful business model for us.

Duo Security's pricing is good, fair, and very comparable to today's market.

I'm not a big fan of relicensing products every year or two years, but that's the model at the moment. I prefer to go back to licensing perpetually or permanent licensing.

Cisco isn't cheap but it's good. Cisco DNA Center is great, but it's too big for our environment, we don't need it in our company. Before we had classic Cisco infrastructure, now, we are switching to Meraki because it's cheaper and it's not big like DNA Center. DNA Center is great, but it's too big. You need a lot of IT to get it to work.

The cost of Duo Security licensing is OK.

From a business perspective, it is a little bit costly. The licensing is on a per-user basis. However, it's worth the cost. We began with a free trial of the product that lasted for one month. After that, we paid for the license to use it.

I only need the solution for IT staff, which makes it relatively cheap. If I deployed it for the whole company, it would be costly, so it depends on the number of users. Duo Security is affordable compared to other products in the segment.

Overall, the pricing is fair. Customers can wrap it into their Enterprise Agreement, making it easier for them to solve their issues.

Price-wise, it's not cheap, but it's not expensive at all either. It's in the middle.

The pricing is pretty competitive. It's pretty cheap. Anybody can adopt it. We don't have customers that haven't used it because of the price.

With regard to pricing, for a small business buying a one-off, it's pretty expensive. If it's an enterprise that has thousands of employees, however, it's really nothing to protect your data because if your network goes down or it's breached, you're losing millions of dollars every minute. When it comes to a large enterprise, it's priced where it should be because you're talking business to business. You're not talking business to consumer.

The licensing is very good because it does not cost a lot of money. It's affordable for all-sized customers, including enterprises. There is an additional cost for premium support. The license can be purchased monthly, quarterly, half-year, or annual.

Our licensing fee is currently on an annual basis. There are two levels of support with Duo that we were considering. The first level of support is just the two-factor authentication — it doesn't do anything else. But the second level of support provides us with network access control. This basically allows us to say, "Hey, your iPhone hasn't been updated in 10 years, update your iPhone to continue using this service." Or, "Your Windows device does not have updates." It also provided us with the geolocation feature. We were experiencing a lot of break-in attempts from Moldavia. So, thanks to this feature, we just locked out Moldavia. If nobody in Moldavia can connect to our system, then nobody in Moldova can hack us.

Their pricing model is a little bit weird. Currently, there is no price advantage in signing up for yearly contracts. There are no additional costs to the standard licensing costs.

I have not yet needed to purchase the product yet as we are just in the stages of trying it out. There are a certain number of licenses we can use for free during this period. I do not know about the pricing and I am not doing the financial analysis so do not know about the pricing. Other teams will take care of this.
