What is your experience regarding pricing and costs for HPE BladeSystem?

Hi,

We all know it's really hard to get good pricing and cost information.

Its pricing was good. We selected this solution because it was within our budget. We paid just once when we bought it. We never bought any license.

It is expensive. There are no additional costs. We are able to get good discounts anyway from HPE, but if the price can come down, we'll be happy.

I don't know the exact cost of licensing, however, it's my understanding that the solution is relatively expensive.

It is not expensive, really, in this class of server products, but as a customer, we always hope that the pricing could be lower.

For anybody planning to use the c7000 for virtualization, I strongly advise you to use half-height servers. This gives the advantage of using sixteen Blades in a single chassis.

It's quite expensive for the initial purchase. The chassis itself, with no blade server inside, so expensive. The C7000 model costs around $100,000.
