My company has opted for HPE GreenLake payment model, meaning the billing is done on a quarterly basis. HPE has a good buyback policy in place that allows users to return dHCI's hardware after five years and choose whatever is required at that time. HPE usually provides a new solution with a new price after deducting or considering the buyback price. My company pays for license and infra costs every quarter, so it's an OpEx model and not a CapEx model.

We can choose between a yearly license fee or once in three years. The solution’s pricing is reasonable for the features that it provides.

The solution is more expensive than Dell Unity. We have purchased a yearly license for it. The additional costs depend upon the use cases.

The solution is a bit expensive. I would rat the pricing six out of ten in terms of affordability.

The pricing is okay. However, it can be cheaper. Performance wise it is okay. If the price was better, it would mean there’s no reason for anyone to think of changing if they bought Nimble. The cost depends on what components you want to include.

We don't require a license. If we used HPE InfoSight, then we would require a license, but for our needs, we don't need one.

The solution is quite expensive. We'd like them to lower the cost of the product. You can buy the solution outright to avoid ongoing licensing costs.

HPE Nimble Storage is more expensive than some of the other solutions, such as Pure Storage. They charge more for every feature than other vendors.

There is a one-time price for hardware, and with the software support, everything is included, such as software upgrades. The licensing of the solution is included in the cost of the hardware and the support is an extra cost. We have purchased support on an annual basis, but you can purchase support up front for up to seven years. We usually buy five years and near the time of the expiry, we sometimes extend it.

We pay a one-time fee for terabyte licenses, and the support is paid yearly. There are costs in addition to the licensing fee, but it's included in the hardware.

HPE Nimble Storage has a simple management end-user. The customer will generally provide us with feedback about performance upon installation of the solution, including in respect of VMware. Our customers are helpful when our performance involves configuring integration such as that of vCenter with InfoSight. I am aware of the tech problem we encounter. The VM we have with high-class latency is, surprisingly, very helpful to manage.

I think HPE Nimble Storage is less expensive than Primera and is the best solution for Venezuela.

The price is negotiable and when we first received the quote it was expensive, but after dealing with them and receiving a discount, the price is reasonable.

I would classify it as an expensive product. It's a high-end product. It's quite expensive, but it's what you would expect from a storage box.

It is a CAPEX investment. Over the anticipated lifespan, I would say the pricing is $10,000 a month. The price has room for improvement.

Our hybrid solution could do with some more competitive pricing and more scaled-down deployments. Already, the smallest one is too much for us. We would flourish by having a smaller unit. If you don't go cheap, it is eventually worth it. However, the initial investment is high.

When selecting a vendor make sure to validate with the vendor that the throughput is enough. With the AF5000, it is 2GB/s write and 4GB/s read, which we are maxing out. Also, ensure to get the right amount of network cards. Also, make sure that the specifications meet the application domain and ensure the right amount of network cards are in the array.
