We can pay an annual license fee. We can also pay per user. The tool is affordable. It is not expensive.

I positioned it at a mid-range level. It isn't an inexpensive solution, but considering its capabilities, it represents excellent value for the functionalities it offers.

We pay for the license. The licensing model is per year. So, yearly-based license. I would rate the pricing an eight out of ten, where ten is the most expensive and one is the cheapest.

They have different pricing levels. There is a free community edition, professional, etc. It depends on the use. The price is reasonable, but it's not the best.

The licensing costs are reasonable in comparison to other solutions. One license costs close to $1,300. With five people programming on one license, the cost is around $6,000 per year. With other vendors, that expense could reach $50,000. The server and obviously IT infrastructure is an additional expense.

We have both options. Some licenses are paid yearly. Others are monthly subscriptions.

We aren't bothered by the pricing of the solution at all due to the fact that it provides us with a lot of great tools. The pricing is high, however, it's a single tool that allows you to do a lot of development without having to buy multiple other tools to do the same tasks.

If you are buying the solution, it's quite pricey. They also offer a community version, which is a good approach.

For the cloud services option, you buy a subscription per account or per user. This costs around $52 a month per person.

Visual Studio Professional Edition provides an IDE for all supported development languages. As of Visual Studio 2010, the Standard edition was dropped. MSDN support is available as MSDN Essentials or the full MSDN library depending on licensing. It supports XML and XSLT editing, and can create deployment packages that only use ClickOnce and MSI. It includes tools like Server Explorer and integration with Microsoft SQL Server also. Windows Mobile development support was included in Visual...
