In the last three years, my company used SAP Data Quality Management for a manufacturing site, particularly for creating inspection lots, recording the results, and costing the inspection lots from any site connected to the SAP system. I oversee manufacturing execution. To explain further, when you finish the product, it goes to the laboratory, and so you call for the creation of the inspection lot or finished product. When the lab sends the product back to the production line, you record the results on the data collection for every serial number and then call SAP to record this, make the decision about the inspection lots, and close it. It's on the water cycle for the production plan for Quality Management, which you apply to the finished products. This is primarily the use case for SAP Data Quality Management.

Our primary use case is for us to inspect the results from the product and material, and for releasing or leaving the status of the product.
