There is room for improvement in terms of customer support and service. Just getting a hold of support and the time it takes for assistance is sometimes challenging. Other than that, the complexity of the GUI can also be improved.

Dell's virtual tape libraries are not really good— their data protection is based on replication and backup. However, it can be expensive for clients, especially when we are talking about their enterprise plans. They don't do any virtualization of the data, and their recovery point for virtual machines is not the best. Although they pair well with VMware for that, if you're relying solely on Dell protection, it could be an issue. We do have good monitoring and reporting for that. However, I think that the granularity of the product could be improved. Because you pretty much have a few super expensive plans, even the more basic ones. Even when it comes to app data security, it's not good. They have a few options, like monitoring backups for all tier-one applications. We do have good visibility control, but there's one thing. Whenever we talk about the reporting, I had a chance to look at their reporting, and in my opinion, it's not user-friendly. That can be a problem.

The solution could be more user-friendly compared to one of its competitors. Also, they should provide more information about data protection.

I consider the product pretty expensive, so from an improvement perspective, I would like the pricing to be better.

The solution’s user interface should be made more user-friendly. The initial setup of the solution should also be made easier.

The restore feed needs improvement. Reporting also needs improvement.
