I’m not your traditional change leader.
Don’t get me wrong - I’m qualified & experienced in PRINCE2, Lean & Six Sigma. I am a results-driven, commercially-focused business professional, passionate about delivering change with practical & enduring results. But change management isn’t what I’ve done for all of my professional life.
I’ve also owned & run a successful restaurant & an outside catering business, been head of service delivery for a vehicle tracking company, increasing service revenue by 30% & led a large field sales team who smashed all their targets. I’ve worked with a really diverse bunch of people in different industries.
As a result of this, I understand change delivery & operational excellence from both sides of the fence which gives me a distinct advantage when engaging with the team and stakeholders. I can get under the skin of what’s really going on & hear what people aren’t saying just as much as what they are.
My varied skills & experience enables me to gain greater insight, evaluate & offer different ideas & perspectives and provide a greater and more valuable overall contribution. I am motivated & energised by improving operational processes, redeveloping organisational structures, spearheading transformation projects & delivering meaningful and sustainable strategic & tactical change of all scales and complexities. I am someone who likes to "get under the skin" of an organisation, get my hands dirty, dive into the detail when required but step out again to ensure clear, unambiguous interpretation and communication to the wider change team & stakeholders
I have line managed teams ranging from 3 to 25 people. I have also matrix managed SMEs & business managers.
