I have been building websites since 1994, which is officially "infinity years" in Internet time. Thankfully, when the Web was invented, I was a nerdy high school kid with ample time to tinker with HTML.

Over the years, I have gotten lucky with a couple of startups:
➲ Join the Company, founded 2009, acquired by GSN in 2012
➲ SocialCash, founded 2007, acquired by LifeStreet Media in 2009

And I've had the privilege of leading some amazing engineering teams:
➙ the team that built a Facebook ad network capable of displaying 150 million personalized, targeted ads per day
➙ the engineers at a small marketing firm named by Inc Magazine as the 18th fastest-growing private company in the US
➙ the developers who built the realtime disease-tracking systems used in 15 developing nations
➙ the IT team at a Cambodian non-profit that has become a poster-child for sustainable development

I currently lead "Team Data" at GSN Digital, where we make our games better by hunting for patterns in trillions of data points. (It's basically a never-ending game of Where's Waldo. Fun stuff. We're hiring.)

I live in Petaluma, California with my wife and four children.
