As an software engineering professional, I am an expert in designing and implementing of programs used to improve system performance and expedite database queries. I also have a strong background in quality assurance and testing procedures to ensure optimal functionality of programs.

My system administration experience includes management of hardware and software, and I have provided end-user support to address any issues in a timely manner. Skilled in the authoring of technical documentation to improve end-user knowledge of system features and processes.

In my previous role with the CME Group, I was heavily involved in the programming and scripting of solutions that provide staff with the information they need in a timely manner. This work has included development of scripts and programs to run reports, audits and facilitate log searches for users.

As a new area of interest I am developing expertise in Big Data Analytics. I have completed course work on Hadoop and some of its complimentary technologies. This will be my new direction in the technology area and anticipate achieving certifications shortly. Hopefully this extends and compliments my experiences in using Splunk.
