Is architecture and portfolio management on track in your company?
In my 30 years of experience in the field of IT, I have mainly worked as an Enterprise Architect. In my work I have had to juggle between meeting the user’s needs and respecting the given political decisions, this have giving me a vast experience in how to develop organizational strategies and how to be able to find the capability to support the individual strategies when needed and set up parameters for the target attainment.
The last 15 years I have primarily worked with the development of defence EA where the focus has been on the IT architecture, governance of the before mentioned and technology monitoring. That is why I today have a wide knowledge of the most used frame works in this area (TOGAF, OIO architecture and the NAF) and how they can operate externalized with EA.
I have always had a high focus on leadership and through my MBA at the Danish Technical University; I have received tools that have made me able to motivate and support people to be more innovative in their daily work. In many years I had worked as project manager on both national and international projects within interoperability solutions, economy-, logistics-, personnel-, organization-systems and warehouse management. This means that I also has experience with tender and contract writing founded in the Danish legislation (EU).
