Michelle Dufty is the Senior Director Product Marketing at Sonatype. She was previously the Director of Product Marketing at Ellucian bringing applications to market for higher education institutions and for BPM at OpenText. She defined the strategy, messaging, positioning, and oversaw the go-to-market campaign initiatives for BPM. She also worked with Sales and partners to enable them to sell and position BPM as a part of the broader Enterprise Information Management solution.

Prior to Ellucian and OpenText, Michelle was a Principal Solutions Marketing Manager at Informatica for the Informatica Platform. She was responsible for defining marketing solutions that leverage the platform to support the challenges and needs of senior level IT and business stakeholders. She oversaw the messaging and content development for Informatica’s global campaigns.

Michelle has over 21 years of product marketing, product management, sales engineering, and consulting experience from the management consulting and enterprise software industry, defining and marketing technology solutions to support customer’s requirements. Michelle’s experience includes defining the requirements for and execution of large ERP implementations within the manufacturing industry and she has deep experience in Business Process Management (BPM) solutions, specifically in the area of compliance and horizontal functions including procurement and accounts payable.
Michelle has held positions in product management, product marketing, solutions marketing, sales engineering, and management consulting over the span of her career with Ernst & Young, Accenture, HandySoft, Appian, OPNET Technologies, Freddie Mac, and Informatica.
