Existing organisational capabilities. e.g; introducing Oracle to a team already skilled in MSSQL would likely be a mistake. Beyond that, I haven't 'researched' RDBMSs for some time. The choice is usually clear for me. MSSQL, MySQL or Postgres.

About me

I am an experienced and skilled software engineer seeking a leadership role in a highly motivated team environment. I am looking to engage in challenging projects in the .NET space, employing new technologies, methodologies and ideas. I am particularly interested in opportunities with a focus on delivering high quality, functional, software.

I enjoy a variety of challenges in my life and work, and accordingly, I enjoy working in a range of fields, in order to get the most out of life. As well as my IT work, I have enjoyed occasionally employment as a photographer and SCUBA Instructor.
